1. yes. as seen in the fight with nagato itachi vs bee and naruto, when nagato used the preta path to absorb the 8 tails chakra it beefed him up. however i believe when using paths the chakra is used to support the paths and doesnt go directly to nagato.

2. depends on what you mean. he can absorb so much that the victim dies of chakra lacking, but he cant absorb so much that he himself dies, because it is called INFINATE absorbtion seal

3. sorta, if you absorb too much then yes. but if you only absorb a little then it wont happen immediatly

thanks everyone and i think if you took to much chakra in and your body couldnt handle you would die remember before naruto got strong they said the nine tails chakra was burning his flesh but it was healing just as fast or something like that. thats why i was asking

i think that is cuz of how malevalent kurama's chakra is. plus it LITERALLY BURNED OFF HIS FLESH!!!! that is what made it bad.

yea plus if you have rinnegan your body can probably take the abuse you need a good bit to even use the rinnegan as far as we have seen

if you actually look into it, the technique is rather facinating. you literally spin your chakra in the opposite direction causing the aproaching jutsu to break apart, then you litterally draw it in and seal it in your own chakra. (hence infinate absorbtion seal)
any ninja is capable of doing this if they have enough skill. rinne just lets you do it instantly and infinatly
