Before you read don't come here saying "I'm a feminist and I'm not like that" if that's the case then just go away because this doesn't apply to you miss "I'm not like other girls"

Anyways the only thing I've managed to do by going on the Internet is somehow find feminazis infesting the web. So here is my problem with them (like most others) They're just plain outright hypocrites. Chivalry is only chivalry if they don't feel like paying. Also, they scream equality and whine when they actually are treated equal saying "I'm a women you can't do that!
Men are more oppressed than women, if anything. If I made a thread showing some half naked women and asked "who do you think is hottest." I would get messages like. "STOP VIEWING WOMEN AS EYE CANDY!"or, "YOU SEXSIT PIG!" Etc.
But if a chick goes out and asks this. "Oh my god they're all so hot!"
Yeah look at all this equality.

If a woman only pays attention to attractive guys "she has preferences"
If a man only pays attention to atractive women "Your shallow!"

I dare you to give me a way any of this is "Equality"

And again I must reiterate THIS ONLY APPLIES TO FEMINISTS WHO ARE LIKE THIS IF YOU ARENT OR THINK YOU ARENT LEAVE.

i dont get ur sig....like his whole movement he got going on...but anyway....i dislike hypocrites too but i feel as if there will always be a hidden double standard when dealing with such topics

Feminists are hypocritical in general. Whilst the end goal of their movement is good and right, a lot of them are extremists, and when you fight for equality, over time(inadvertently or not) the goal changes to that of superiority. So you have a point OP.

"We want equality, that's why we demand special treatment". The core of the current feminism. In fact, the core of any moralism movement these days. Be either "fighting" racism, or supporting gay people, any kind of moralism, at least a part of it(the blind moralist) has become nothing more than a bad joke.

The hypocrisy, the stupidity, it's harmful. They scream equality, but their measures are always screaming either compensatio or revenge. Blind moralists say that "opressed minorities can't have privileges", and use that "argument" to try and make this compensation, this special treatment I mentioned. They use the "opressed minorities" as an excuse to treat these groups in a better way, trying to take away the right of the population regarding disagreeing with these groups, or criticizing them. Basically, they try to take away part of the population's freedom of speech, using the excuse I mentioned above.

The statements you mentioned are an exemple. There are others. I made a more generial thread about this, I'll put it in here.

True/by definition feminism is a great thing. By definition, I am a feminist. Radical "feminazi" feminism though is really...really annoying. It gives true feminism a bad name.

Which is why whenever I see things like "feminism is retarded" I cringe and think of how polluted that word has become and how it's diverged from its true meaning.

I don't think it's diverged from its true meaning, its just that some people are quick to be righteous and lump together stereotypes and discredit a movement just because of a particular group. It comes across just as ignorant as the people they are trying to bash

I am a male feminist. Well, I claim to be one. In my own way.

I don't ever watch porn because it devalues and objectifies women.

I don't condone cultural and religious traditions that devalue, restrict/enslave women in any way. Instead of making girls wear a burka, teach boys not to objectify women.

I always keep in mind how would I want my daughter or sister to be approached and treated by a male and I go by that.

Oh, and I don't listen to garbage mainstream music that indirectly promotes objectifying women and rape culture. I carefully read between the lines of the lyrivs.
