female advice pls

Hello narutobase this may sound a lil weird but I would really love your opinion about this situation. One of my bestfriends(who is a girl) little cousin has always had a crush on me since the 1st day I met her when she was 14 but she turn 18 this month on the 28. I have never made a move on her 1 because she was underage n 2 because I'm not sure how my friend would react to the situation. Now I do plan on talking to her on her bday n I wanted to have a non bias opinion about how u think a girl would view the guy guy(aka me) in this situation.

P.s I would like to point out that I do plan on trying to make this girl my future wife even tho she is 5 years younger then me but she pretty much worship the ground I walk on n that's rare but I'm not trying to take advantage of her mentally or sexually. YOUR HONEST OPINION WOULD BE MUCH APPRECIATED

Focus on the person you want to have a relationship with, your bestfriend will accept it if both you and his/her cousin love each other, at least if it's a true friend you know.

It may seem wrong but it isn't since she shows affection towards you.. Your bestfriend doesn't say anything about that either right? That means he/she doesn't mind it all that much.

Yea I know that but when she was 13 she was hitting on me n I was 18 so now that she is getting ready to be 18 it might look a lil suspect in a female eyes. It may seem like manipulation because girls at that age don't really know what they want they love with their eyes not there heart

Anyway from a female's perspective:
Just ask her - imo guys are creepier when they're acting awkward around you - even though they just might be looking out for you or trying to find a way to tell you they like you. Be straight forward, but don't make it sound like it came from nowhere. And don't bring up the fact she's loved from you from a young age right away. Then it'll become awkward from there onwards.
Despite someone saying not to talk to her - you should, or at least indirectly. Ask your best friend or the girl's parents or even your parents to throw in a word for you that you are interested if you are not confident enough to approach her directly.
And bud, if she's the right one for you - fate will have it even if its not right now, it could be in another few years. Just don't be desperate or pushy or awkward. Keep your dignity!

If you don't want it to look like you were stalking her since she is 13 you should create a faux sudden interest or sign of affection for her, if you go straight into talking with her you may be able to explain why you like her and for how long, but there will always be that memory of 'why hasn't he said this before' you know.

You may be able to tell her that you see a future wife in her because of her great qualities, it doesn't look weird when someone talks about qualities, it becomes weird when you tell her that you like her for her appearance since you've known her for so long.
