sorry if i sound like am just whining but ..... feelings ?? really ..... the uchiha wasn't a clan of hate (seeking power), they were just too full of LOVE ..... :shrug: (the bad ass uchiha clan turned out to be an overemotional group with a lot of power) so now BOTH the uchiha and senju are clans of LOVE but one of them is overemotional that it goes crazy about it and the other is more stable :sy:
i like this series but it started with the bijuu's having personalities and FEELINGS (that was annoying to me) all the way to naruto looking at kurama (who was supposed a creature of hate and sick power turned out to be just pissed of coz of people wanting to seal him) and tells him one that one day i'll take that hate out of you (seriously ??), and now you wana tell me that the big secret about the bad ass uchiha's and what triggers them is being overemotional (full of love).
i just wana know if am the only one annoyed by this, i thought this was gona be about ancient powers, secrets, super strong old weapons, corrupted people in power (politics) and some serious explanations not an entire clan being FULL OF LOVE (slipping to darkness because of it ... cheesy).

what do you think ?? even if you disagree, your input is welcome.

I learned from Naruto no one is truly born evil, it the events that take place in their lives that make them turn bad. Common sense really that the manga explained a while back for the Uchiha to awaken their Mangekyo they need to feel a lost of love. If you look at other animes like dbz when Gohan went Super Saiyan 2 against cell it's because he was afraid to lose his family and friends when Cell ordered Cell Jr to kill them. I see no difference.

It's always been implied that love is what makes their Sharingan react. Killing the ones you love to gain a new form of the Sharingan, or watching a loved one (Rin) die, etc...

Chapter 619 simply gave the scientific explanation behind it, regarding the powerful emotions and chakra reacting to the feelings of hate they gain from that loss.

i like your explanation and i agree, but gohan was said to have a kind heart (sensitive) thats why he couldn't use his hidden potential unless he got pushed. now gohan was ONE character but saying that the entire uchiha clan was simply overemotional is something else (silly in my opinion). thanks for your input.

It was already stated that the Sharingan was brought out by an emotional event. And to gain the next stage, you had to kill someone close to you or watch someone close to you die - which is again an emotional event.

It isn't surprising then that love makes them develop their Sharingan - after all, killing a nameless person doesn't let them develop the Sharingan because they have no connection to that person.

I find it actually a bit ironic that the clan, said to be full of hate, actually develop their strongest technique because of their capability to love. And it's a bit amusing to me as well. So I don't see it as really cheesy.

I can understand why other people consider the new revelation as cheesy though, but to me it's just a bit more on the ironic and amusing side than on the cheesy side.

lol well .... i understand where your coming from (explained your view nicely). am also glad you understand why i think its cheesy .... it's just that making the bad ass uchiha's a clan of emotionally unstable warriors seems wrong (the secret behind them). but again thats just me.

i hope so punk .... going crazy after loosing a loved one happens in many stories (other than this series) but it happens by one person and it's not because of his blood (uchiha blood). it's simply the way people are, some accept their loss others go crazy and blame the world. but the uchiha being unstable emotionally is .... sigh (is that supposed to be an explanation)
