The Feel is an upcoming Wii game in development by Takashi Shimizu, the popular director of Japanese horror films such as Ju-On (adapted here as The Grudge).
He is working with AQ Interactive (publisher of Bullet Witch, Vampire Rain and the cancelled Sakigutchi RPG Cry On) to create the new game which will be a horror game as you?d expect from the guy who made The Grudge. Our cohorts at Joystiq Japan -- PSA: There's a Joystiq Japan now -- tell us that Shimizu will serve as the game's "horror adviser," so we expect plenty of scary, creepy, crawly Onryo.
In the game players will be exploring a haunted house using the Wii Remote?s pointer as their guiding flashlight. A very interesting mechanic is also the fact that the battery life of the player?s Wii Remote will actually serve as the player?s health meter . . No further details on how THAT will work were given though.
?The Feel? will support up to two players and will be launching for Wii?s in Japan this summer.
