What makes you think you are entitled to your own tag in a 150 000 member community?
It's a shame that you have such an egoistic approach to creating a thread because the rest of the content is good and throws the entire "Kaguya is a Uzumaki" bullshit off the window.
There's this dude who won't shut up about Otsutsuki being Uzumakis when it's been made clear who they are, he should read this.
Sorry if my shameless self promotion offends you, its kind of something I started doing a LONG time ago for the sake of being different and now it just feels weird not to do it. For arguments sake I do put ALOT of time and effort into my threads, most of which take a bare minimum of 4 hours to write, hell searching through hundreds of manga chapters to find the one scan that may prove your point can take 10 minutes per scan or more if you dont remember what chapter said scan is in, and my threads have alot of scans, then I do the writing, proof checking, find credible sources like wikipedia, etc... It really isnt easy.
I guess what I am saying is that I feel like I put more work into my threads than other thread makers and thus feel like I am entitled to the tag, and I dont use it on threads I dont dedicate alot of time on which is why some of my threads dont have them. This thread particularly was alot more than 4 Hours as I woke up the next day to continue working on it.
Alas I hope you dont fall into a habit of commiting ad hominems.

the character in question (Kakashi) was not making a definitive statement but rather working on hearsay and speculations (Kakashi: "They Say...") therefore the validity of his statement is questionable.
Kakashi said that the origins of the Uchiha Clan lie (come from) with the Hyuuga Clan which implies that the Uchihas are descendants of the Hyuugas making the Uchiha (based on Kakashi's hearsay info) merely an off-shoot clan of the Hyūgas. Already Kakashi's statement is contradicting the Manga since the descendants of the Elder Son were said to be Uchihas:

Now, my opinion on this part of your post is that you are having trouble with logic. You argument about the uchiha being descendant of the elder son does not contradict Kakashi's intel in any manner. Fact is that Kakashi is saying that the Huyaga clan can actually have more KKG, and Byakugan is one of them. The understanding here is that Sharingan is one of these KKG as well.
Now, if you add what BZ and Rikudo said, Kaguya had both Byakugan and Sharingan. The problem is that since we saw Kaguya's sharingan with Juubi, we assume that it is Juubi's eye. However, since BZ said that Kaguya was part of the Juubi, it could appears that Juubi was actually using Kaguya's eyes after taking her body. In fact, Juubi is now Kaguya+Shinju. If this is true, then everyone (Senju and Uchiha) are all from Huyaga - that is from Kaguya.
However, let assume that the above is not true. Rikudo said he had two children one of them being Indra (Uchiha ancestor) and the other being Ashura (Senju ancestor). A mjor question has always been how Rikudo's children were so opposite and different in power and will. Are both of them really his children? What about Hamura? Why nothing is said about his children?
Well, it could appears that Indra was actually the child of Hamura with a different KKG from his origin, the Huyaga. The truth is that Rikudo did not have Sharingan, and the only person who had it was actually a Huyga aka Kaguya.

So basically, after the change of the sequence, you obtain a new sequence. Thus, what kakashi is saying is that Rikudo had a mutation of is DNA into something else through a process he does not know. After that change, the new DNA became the source of Rinnegan.
So, saying that Kakashi is wrong is actually bad logic, unless you can prove that someone else who is not connected to Rikudo was able to obtain Rinnegan. Madara's Rinnegan is a reconstruction of Rikudo's DNA obtained after mutation. Truth is that Kaguya did not have Rinnegan, neither Hamura did, nor anyone else in their era. What Sasuke has is not Hagoromo's Rinnegan either, and even if it is close, he had it after meeting Hagoromo. All these actually validate Kakashi's statement.
Well I guess there is no reason to be confused about Kaguya and WHAT she is anymore. Its pretty obvious that she is the Juubi incarnate.
Her motivations however require in depth analysis. Because considering her "I speak no evil" stand point we aren't going to have her villain monologue about how bad and evil she is and what her plans are lol. But we might get Black Zetsu doing it for her. Jeez she is supposed to be the final villain and we know shit about her reasons.
