Here goes another one of my thread. Now I know I always say this in my threads and I bet no one does it, but go grab a drink, some chips, maybe even a sandwich and enjoy the read!
The Story of Kaguya
since beginnings are where people normally start things like this, I think I will too... It all started, with a War.
Now here is when things get weird, see the last scan implies that the Juubi was mad that she stole its power and wanted to get it back, and yet.
Here we see that after she got her power we see a few things:
1) She becomes concieted by this
2) The people begin to fear/worship her
3) She earns the name "Rabbit Princess"
Now by all means this isnt something that happens in minutes, on the contrary this is the kind of things that happens in the span on years, heck she even has Hagoromo being born with the Juubi's power. So we know atleast 1 year goes by.
But to take the point a bit further if the Juubi was mad and wanted its power back, why would he wait sooo long? At the bare minimum a year went by. Now there are 2 possible answers to this question:
1) The Juubi didnt know/realize his power had been taken.
2) He was sealed into Kaguya at this time, remember Ninjutsu hadnt been invented yet but fuinjutsu had. (I cant expand on this if anyone asks.)
Now for me, I want to go with the latter just because it seems more realistic to me. Heck the manga has shown that all you need is the Rinnegan and some special jutsu to be able to absorb the Juubi.
And it is exemplified in the following scan:
It state that the Sage seprated the Juubi's chakra and body because he feared that upon his death it seal would be broken and it would be able to run free. But why did he think this would happen? Perhaps because it had happened before, with Kaguya. Which is what lead him to defeat the Juubi.
Now if this is the case then we are left with a question... How did Kaguya die?

Obito is defeated, Madara is revived, He starts kicking ass and taking names and all of a sudden.
Was that the Gedo ****ing Mazou? Thats kinda weird I thought that became the Juubi that is now the tree... whatever.
Wait a minute... Madara just summoned the Juubi and then absorbed it? Making him the a Jinchuriki... So then... Wait.. So what happened to the Tree? I guess it was summoned to Madara along with the Juubi since their one in the same?
NOPE!!! So then what the HELL is going on here? How can the Juubi and Holy Tree be in 2 places at once, and dont even get me started on wtf the Gedo Mazou was doing over there when we clearly saw it become the Juubi. Im so confused... but... what if.
What if they are all one being *COUGH* father, son and the holy ghost *COUGH*, who said that?. Back to what I was saying, what if the Juubi, the Holy Tree and the Mazou are all pieces of the same entity. I mean if you consider them the same thing then the question is how are they in multiple places at the same time, but if you consider them separate parts of the whole. Then it becomes possible.
That would give meaning to both Madara and Kaguya's statements:
Madara had previously absorbed the Juubi, we see the Mazou disapear near him and we can assume he took possesion over it since he is the only one with Senju + Uchiha DNA around. And he just absorbed the Tree, and thus the 3 are now 1.
To add to this we have this scan:
The sage says "And sealed it inside of US" now how can 2 people be the Jinchuriki of the same Tailed Beast at the same time? Unless they sealed different parts of the same Juubi inside of each of them?

Story of Kaguya Part 2
You cant really talk about Black Zetsu without talking about Kaguya, because in a sense they are one in the same, but the arrival of Black Zetsu in the form of Kaguya tells us one thing.

When I say that I mean that she had unfinished bussiness. And part of that Business included using her power to summon the God Tree and use Infinite Tsukuoyomi.. But why, to give her power but also to do something else.
But, if Kaguya possessess the Juubi and has everyone in the world under her genjutsu, then why in the world does she need soldiers?
There are 2 possibilities, and only 2, both are equally epic depending on how you look at it.
1) Ending of the Cycle
2) World Domination

But, if Kaguya possessess the Juubi and has everyone in the world under her genjutsu, then why in the world does she need soldiers?

To me it follows logically that if everyone in the world is under your control, then whatever is left is what you want to destroy... That being the Juubi itself. Bare with me.
We know that Kishimotto has borrowed alot from Hinduism along with other religions. He took the Samsura eye from it, Ashura and Indra are both names of some of its paths, and it seems that the deeper you delve into the Rinnegan and its creation the further up you go in the respective religion (Hinduism.)
Now in Hinduism you have 3 surpreme gods, the Creator, the Destroyor and the Protector (Juubi, God Tree, Gedo Mazou).
Brahma, The Creator - I believe that the Juubi is Vishnu the Creator, since it is credited with creating the world.
Shiva, The Destroyer - I believe that the God Tree is actually the God Tree, for obvious reasons.
Vishnu, The Maintainer - I believe that the Gedo Mazou, because not only did it help produce the White Zetsu, but it sustained both Madara and Obito, and the Mindless Hashirama Clone.
Another comparison can be made with the Juubi being God as he created the world, the Holy Tree being the Holy Spirit connecting us all, and the Gedo Mazou being Jesus (The Son) who through him and through him alone can one find salvation in God IE Find the Juubi. But that is a thread for a different day.
It is with these 3, the Creator, the Maintainer and the Destroying that the cycle of Earth and life continues. I believe she wants to end the cycle completely. Besides, if the cycle is a path people must walk to reach enlightenment, then perhaps by destroying the path you destroy the need to walk the path.
This is just a theory, but it seems to be one of the only options left. She wants to create an army in order to rival the power of the Juubi and destroy it.

Now if I told you she wanted to rule the world you would say, she already does, everyone on earth is under her genjutsu. But are they?
The genjutsu is cast by reflecting light off the Moon, but the moon only shines on 1 half of the earth at any given moment. On one side of the earth it is day, on the other side it is night. Given that logic the light from the Infinite Tsukuyomi only shined on 1 half of the earth, meaning the other half of the earth is currently not under the control of the genjutsu.
But if she is so powerful why cant she just deal with everyone on her own. I believe there is a 2 pronged answer to this question.
1) There may be some limitation to being the Juubi's jinchuriki, its hard for me to believe that any human can control the Juubi for extended periods of time. Perhaps that is how she died the first time.
2) Now you can say, who in the world could go toe to toe with her, and my answer is, the world. The world is a big place filled with Orochimaru's, Naruto's, Minato's + more. Its hard to argue the point for sure, but perhaps she just doesnt want to take the risk of single handedly fighting the world, I mean we know how well that turned out for Obito right?
