I really do envy you man. I honestly never had a childhood. My teenage and innocence literally fled so fast, that sometimes when I think about it; I never really did anything in those years because of my family issues. Regardless, now that I am in my twenties, I do feel really doleful due to the years I lost. I say, enjoy this life. Your childhood will end sooner or later. Better to plan for a good future ahead. That's my advise.

^ I guess only those who never experienced childhood can understand. Mine was lost to many other factors, parental abuse and what not. Regardless, it is not any less painful. Human life is short anyway, and to lose such significant years really takes a toll on my depression sometimes.

I am so sorry to hear that. For me it was dealing with a lot of unexpected deaths and mental/physical trauma. If you ever want to chat, feel free to message me sometime.

Have fun while you can bro. Just know when to call it a night. I'm 21. Partied too much in high school and blew my shot at college. Joined the army went the other way with my priorities and let my job become my life. I'm 21 and I'm already divorced because of that. Party on weekends. Work during the week. I'm single and happy, but career-wise things are about to change for me, so it's exciting and scary at the same time. I'm actually fulfilling a lifelong dream.

It's not a good idea to hold onto someone until you think someone better might come along, that could mislead and hurt them. Are you sure she's just a "hell of a ride" or could you possibly see something deeper?
