What is Madara's purpose in the Eye of the Moon Plan?

• Obito can also use Tsukuyomi and thus Madara isnt needed to use it
• Although Madara may be better at using Tsukuyomi, the 15+ years he was dead Obito could have been training to master Tsukuyomi. Thus again what is Madara purpose in the Eye of the moon plan
• We know the original plan envolved Nagato reviving Madara but we also know that Nagato doesnt revive you as he pleases but more than likely he revives you in the same form you were when you dead. If he really did revive people in there prime or how they wanted to be revived then there would be alot of discrepencies in the people he revived in konoha. So either Madara's role in this plan was NOT offensive or the plot no jutsu is stronger than we've ever seen.

My Idea:

1) Obito's part of the plan WAS infact to use Tsukuyomi and fulfill the plan, but some time after Madara's death he decided to change his plan. This change would likely be something like using the Juubi to rule the ninja world and thus end all the fighting between the nations bringing peace to the world. But after Madara was brought back, in edo form no less, Obito was forced to play along with Madara's Original plan. He refuses to use rinne tensie himself and revive Madara simply because he doesnt truly want to follow the plan and is looking for a chance to take back control of the situation.

2) Madara's true role in the plan was what he had been preparing for originally. As you know sealing a bijuu is difficult and isnt a 1 man job especially when talking about the Juubi, I believe Madara's role was to control the Juubi and keep it tamed while Obito made himself its Jinchuuriki. Keep in mind that even now him and Madara switch control of the Jinchuriki while they use it to fight the ninja forces and even with edo tensie and senju dna they have a hard time controlling it, and thats just to get it to do something it already wants to do which is destroy everything. So imagine how hard it would fight to not be made a jinchuriki again like the SO6P did. Keep in mind that the tentacle connecting madara and obito to the juubi is very similar to the one that connected madara to the tree of hashirama's dna... coincidence? I dont think so.

Can Obito use Tsukuyomi?

Forgot to add that to this post. But yes, remember that Sharingans, especially MS, retain there abilities once they are trasnfered. Which is the reason why both Danzo and Itachi's crow were able to use ShiShuis MS Ability. With that Obito could easily steal Sasuke's or Madara Eyes and use Tsukuyomi himself. He Also could have stolen Itachi's eyes since he was the one who placed them in Sasuke activating his EMS.

Not just that but keep in mind that he CURRENTLY has a Sharingan with the ablility to use Tsukuyomi, it is infact the rinnegan that he took from Nagato which originally belonged to madara. All he would have to do is revert it to its Sharingan form and he would be able to use Tsukuyomi. And as far as capability with a different persons Sharingan I think that Kakashi has done a great job in showing us that with practice anyone can master anyones Sharingan and thus there is no "Home field advantage" when it comes to mastering a Sharingan, although it is harder when you arent an Uchiha, but Obito is one and he is also Senju which one can assume would only help.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but from the dialog in the manga, the plan was for Madara to be the jinchuriki not obito. Which is why he is upset that he was brought back as an EDO. Madara can't be a jinchuriki of the ten-tails while being in an edo-body, which is why he was supposed to be resurrected with rinne tensei.

As for the entire Nagato buisness, Do you remember all the large-scale techniques he used before resurrecting the people of Konoha. Not only the fact that he had already used a-lot of chakra, he resurrected an absurd amount of people when you think about it. It isn't that un-thinkable that if he had used the same amount of chakra or even less for that matter focused on just ONE individual that it could bring someone like Madara back as he was when he was in his prime.

1) Possibly but I would appreciate a scan of what exactly you mean as dont have the time to search for what you say is out there.

2) So your saying that if he had more energy he would be able to bring back someone at there prime even though he has no clue how they looked or what they were like? Ofcourse that is absurb, that would be like me telling you to draw a picture of someone you had never seen before. So then perhaps its Madara and he choses how he gets to come back? But I already explain how this doesnt work in my thread.

I think that sooner or later Madara will kill Obito, I really, really hope that happens because I like stories with twists and if Madara does do that he will be a boss forever!
