Which One Piece fights made you the most hyped, had you emotionally involved, laugh most or what fight did you just enjoy the most plus why?
Here's three fights I really liked for different reasons.
Usopp vs. Perona
This fight was very fun and inventive, after the entire arch where Usopp had to struggle with his own worth and then didn't even get to fight solo, it was really great to see him actually beat some-one solo, using all his dirty tricks and tactics for the battle which made it fun and unpredictable to watch, lots of small funny gags, lots of playing back and ford between him and Perona, and it was just great see.
The Battle at Marine Ford.
This was amazing, because it was just such a huge brawl!
We got to see all these characters whom are the supposed novas and legends of this univers actually show off what they could do, and it wasn't even a question of good vs. evil, it was a positive three-way battle and was almost just one huge brawl with all these great characters doing their stuff plus of course, a very emotional context, and you really got the sense that what happened there changed the One Piece univers, it was a very important event.
The Strawhats vs. Oz
This is maybe one of the longest battles in the manga against just one single enemy, it goes on for a really long time, and I love the hell out of it.
I love it very much, especially because, this is the only time in the entire manga AND anime, we see all of the straw-hats working together as one group and one unity.
We got to see how much they had grown and how they managed to work together and compliment each other as one single unit. All the combo attacks of the different Straw-hats being pulled out one after the other, and they work so well together, every-body gets to do some-thing and work of each other.
We had never seen that in the manga before as usually they split up for battles, and chances are we are never ever going to see it again because of where the manga is at now and how strong they each have gotten.
So that we have this single one battle where they all get to work as one single group is deeply appreciated, and I think that we see them being so close and working of each other like that, only helps the tragedy of them being sepperated in the next arch. It makes it feel even that much more devastating when it happens.
So what are your favourite battles and why?
