I dont care who you had an argument with. What does Kiba and Chouji do to Katsuyu? She is going to be great support to Sakura, healing anything that hits Sakura. Also its not an over statement to say Sakura is smarter than both combined.

Chouji can beat Sakura with medium difficulty. He took out Hiashi, Kakazu, Asuma and went head to head with the Gedo Mazu. He's had the highest edo kill rate of the Shinobi Alliance. (other than maybe Naruto) please don't underestimate Chouji either just because of his personality and portrayal.

There isn't much outsmarting a huge chakra giant, there's not much to outsmart, Sakura will literally be spending every second of their battle evading, healing and enduring- there'll be no chance to outsmart someone when that person at the size of a meteor is belly flopping onto you. Even Katsuyu is going to get hurt/killed by taking one of those giant chakra punches.

^^Look at this picture and then picture where Sakura would be in it. The sheer size alienates her, you need to stop underestimating Chouji. I get that Chouji's immense size can create just as many cons and pros but it depends on the opponent. Moves like Amateresu, Offensive Chakra Scalpel or Kamui ruin him but Sakura's jutsu are punching things. Her blast radius is impressive but in comparison to Chouji it's still not that big. Acid will similarly hurt but what's it going to burn? His foot? Sakura is not enough.

Also to say Sakura could just 'outsmart' him is too general. Also wrong. Are you saying Chouji outsmarted Kakazu? Because Kakazu is MUCH smarter and tactical than Sakura will ever be (arguably asuma too) and that didn't stop them from getting overwhelmed by him.​

Agreed he wasn't the only one there but if you look at the scan and remind yourself that they are edos that need to be captured and not attacked/worn out by jutsu it's kinda hard for him to have not done the majority of the work looking at the capture angle he's in. He deserves the credit he gets for that beach fight.

Large summons aren't used unless either one of these scenarios occur:

1) The person in question is falling from a great height. (Jiraiya pushing Naruto off the cliff, Sasuke forced over the edge of the Samurai Bridge)
2) The person in question's opponent has summoned something large. (Sannin Standoff, Oro's Invasion of Konoha)
3) The person in question's opponent is just large. (Shukaku fight, 5 Bijuu fight)

The last two occur when the person in question hasn't the means to fight said large opponent by themselves.

He doesn't start off that way meaning Sakura wouldn't summon Katsuyu until he uses the Chou Baika no Jutsu and even then, his power in that form is enough to squash the slug into mini slugs or he could just kick it away.

Either way, Sakura's small impact radius (speaking comparatively) won't affect Chouji in his large form. He could even just stand on her, considering she has no raw strength to stop him from crushing her.


If you didn't know, her punching power comes from using chakra to make a more powerful punch.

If Chouji was crippled in a wheelchair maybe but all ninja have basic chakra control and can walk over dodgy surfaces. You see Chouji can do the same strategy you're using for Sakura too, much more easily and instead of making the terrain a bit rocky Chouji's kill little shinobi.

Chouji can easily evade and jump back or forward huge distances as shown time and time again. You think the terrain will matter when Chouji does a bigger version of this onto Sakura? (confirmed to be the size of a mountain btw) Seriously

Exactly, Katsuyu fights enough of Sakura's matchup battles for her as it is but this is one match-up where she literally has very little input. Her one attack isn't doing nearly enough and she only provides temporary protection. Don't summonings run out anyway? Like Gamakichi, he wasn't even around for that long- maybe like 5 minutes.
