Yo Base!
So, felt like asking a question: what are your favourite animes? Top 5, and some reasons why so. Here's mine!
1. Gurren Lagann (if you couldn't guess from the picture and the signature): a wonderful plot, emotional, funny and amazing over-the-top action scenes, with a few morals weaved in there too; had everything I could ever want in an anime.
2. Code Geass: Clever, very clever. It also had some complex characters, including my favourite character from any anime, which is Lelouch. Great plot, a rather dark view into how the world may have turned out if the Americans had lost the War of Independence and America had been sucked into the British Empire, and generally just great.
3. Attack on Titan: Dark, unforgiving, actionpacked, tense, exciting, just GOOD. Plot, quite original and addictive, animation is top notch and a sobering feeling of reality; not everyone's gonna survive a world where 15 meter tall monsters are preying upon you. In some places I feel that character development COULD have been worked a little harder on, but otherwise, amazing.
4. Naruto Shippuden: The second anime series I ever watched, after DBZ. This series has pretty much everything too; humour, amazing fights, a large cast with plenty of character development (for some characters anyway), and lots of morals! I honestly think Naruto as a character has inspired me more than any real-life person, and that's pretty insane.
5. Soul Eater: originality, which is great. A distinct art style, funny yet really creepy at parts, awesome fights, and as mentioned before, it is really damn original for the most part! Aside from the horrible, HORRIBLE ending, I honestly couldn't find one thing I disliked about the show.
Holy balls I should write series reviews as a career, I'm getting into this. XD
Anyway, that's my list! I'm interested to hear your own opinions Base!
