Decomposition (分解魔法) is known as Dissolution, Disintegration and "Demon Right"- is one of Tatsuya's two innate active magic abilities along with Regrowth, relying on his innate talent to directly interfere structural information. Using Decomposition, after identifying the design of any Eidos, Sequence, or object, he can decompose the design. For physical objects, he can translate the physical object into signals, and then erase the base design at his leisure. For an information body (magic spells), he can directly disassemble the design. Therefore, if used on a person, the parts that form the human body, including skin, flesh, nerves, body fluids, bones, and cellular structures would be decomposed at a molecular level. This is one of the most difficult magics imaginable and a bit reason why Tatsuya is unable to freely wield Systematic-Type Magic; too much of his brain's Magic Calculation Area is dedicated to this ability and his other ability: Regrowth.
It doesn't matter how fast his opponent is moving, as long as he can read the Eidos using elemental sight, they can not escape his magic. This is shown when he uses Mist Dispersion on a parasite infected magician, who was using pseudo teleportation. Decomposition doesn't travel through the physical realm and instantly effects the target.
Tatsuya is incredibly dexterous and skilled with this ability. He is able to fire his ability as a projectile, can cast it as an area of effect Decomposition magic to act as a defensive wall around him, and can focus it around portions of his body to act as a "sword," similar to the way in which Sonic Blade works. As a result, there are many "subtypes" of this spell, most notably: Mist Dispersion, Gram Dispersion, and Material Burst.

Material Burst (マテリアル・バースト) is the ultimate Decomposition Magic. It has been likened to a magical equivalent of a nuclear warhead, and operates much on the same principles; by converting matter into energy, only without the radioactive material fallout.
The energy released by Material Burst can be calculated using Einstein's mass-energy equivalence equation (e=mc²), in which energy released through the decomposition of matter is the mass of the decomposed matter multiplied by the speed of light squared. This shows that when Material Burst is used upon "...a single drop of water, a paltry 50 milligrams of matter, the explosion created has the power equivalent of 1000 tons of TNT." [1]
Material Burst is incredibly powerful and has the potential to outstrip any other Strategic-Class Magic in sheer destructive ability as Material Burst is not limited to area and has no theoretical limits to its power like some of the other Strategic-Class Magic.

Rupture (爆裂, Bakuretsu) is a magic designed solely for military purposes. Rupture is a Dispersal Type, which evaporates all liquids within an object. In the case of living organisms, body fluids will evaporate and the body will explode with its red blood cells scattering outwards like a crimson flower blooming in the spring. All fuel will vaporize in internal combustion engines or fuel cells.
Since nearly all machines have a fluid of some kind, such as lubricants, coolants, hydraulic fluids, oils, or battery fluids, they will instantly be destroyed by Explosion or simply stop working. This is the perfect magic for both anti-personnel and anti-armor combat.

Elemental Sight is a Sensory magic that allows users to connect to the Information Dimension. They can then specify the Eidos of their surroundings individually, regardless of distance. Users can analyze the Eidos of targets, allowing for precision aiming at long distances. In short, The "Eyes of the Spirits" — "Elemental Sight" refers to Tatsuya's ability to identify the "landscape (color)" of the information dimension.
Each of the Four Major Systems and Eight Major Types of magic projects Magic Sequences onto the Eidos through the information dimension. Thus, Magicians who wield modern magic have the ability to link to the information dimension. By connecting to the information dimension and verifying its "existence" — Tatsuya's senses could be said to expand the field. And this "expansion" has dire consequences. Anything with a physical body in this world has their Eidos imprinted in the information dimension. Also, this isn't done through the five senses, or as if he could "see through" this expanded information dimension and the subsystem's signals to pull out the targets he needed. Rather, he is able to identify each and every Eidos and target them separately. In other words, no one can escape from his Elemental Sight. Also, by using Elemental Sight, users have a 360˚ field of "vision," regardless of physical obstacles, making it excellent for protection.
It also allows users to see the 'past' of any magic- what magic had been used and the nature of the magic. By analyzing the Eidos, users can see how it was affected by any magics. Tatsuya can see up to 24 hours into the past, allowing him to use his skill Regrowth, returning an object to whatever state it was in at any point in those 24 hours. However, if a person had already died, the magic cannot restore the person to life, despite the body being perfectly fine.
What Tatsuya sees is not images but information. Structural information of corporeal bodies are converted by the unconscious mind into signals the conscious mind can easily comprehend.
Shiba Tatsuya, the only mentioned user of this magic, does not use this magic openly because it may raise a warning flag for him if people saw what should not be seen. He has used it in front of Erika due to her being unable to realise precisely what it is he is doing, yet he is more careful around powerful, more knowledgeable Magicians like Katsuto and Mayumi.
Otherwise known as the "Eyes of the Spirits" and "Idea Identification Vision".
Considered a Superpower that Fujibayashi Kyouko and Yamanaka note would receive more interest than the use of Decomposition in the Nine Schools Competition.
It can be expanded by connecting to "Link Space", that connects to the relationship of cause and effect. Although this usually operates in the background, by linking to Link Space, Tatsuya is able to fully place his vision into the Information Dimension.
Theoretically, this could also allow him to see the future, but at the moment he is unable to do that.

Accelerator (一方通行アクセラレータ Ippō Tsūkō (Akuserarēta)?, lit. "One-Way Road") is the ability that is exclusively used by Academy City's first ranked Level 5 and strongest esper, which is also his namesake, the Accelerator.
The ability is normally applied to allow him to manipulate vectors, though it has been shown that it is more than that, through the use of Accelerator's massive intellect and calculating prowess, his powers allows him to understand unknown or strange laws hitherto unknown to him and making use of it.
Accelerator's ability is based on Vector Transformation (ベクトル変換 Bekutoru Henkan?), known in other names such as Vector Change and Vector Conversion, that allows him to control vectors (magnitude and direction) and influence objects that have vectors such as bullets, heat, and electricity. Accelerator is both passive and active in usage, or can even be a referred to as defensive and offensive.
It is self-evident that the ability requires a great amount of calculating power from the esper, as it requires for Accelerator to take into account several vectors that he wants to redirect, and when activated, several variables are present when manipulating and controlling vectors. For example, Accelerator is able to delete data from Last Order's mind through the manipulation of vectors of her bio-electricity. Furthermore, Accelerator can do it even if he is unconscious, able to make an invisible "tube" to control blood flow in Yoshikawa Kikyou's artery and not allow a single drop to spill. In fact, the combined brains of 10,000 level 3 Sisters are only able to make up less than half of Accelerator's calculating power, though it seems it is enough for Accelerator to use it even in combat.
Accelerator uses this passive ability to "Redirection" or "Reflection" (反射 Hansha?, lit. "Reflection") reverse any oncoming vector coming towards the field that protects his entire body, most likely his AIM Dispersion Field, which somehow covers even the clothes he wears and select objects he is holding. The redirection ability can be done subconsciously through some simple calculations as he was shown doing so as a child 5-6 years prior to the start of the story. He just needs to calculate the minimum required forces like gravity, air pressure, light, oxygen, heat, sound wavelength, etc. and redirect everything else. Things such as light, sound, and gravity are calibrated to pass through this field for his convenience, though he can undo this if he chooses to. For defensive use, Accelerator subconsciously establishes a filter that analyzes everything as harmful or not, and uses his reflect to push away anything that could harm him. Examples of these would be high-velocity vectors that are reflected, such as bullets, which Accelerator obviously could not consciously react to, as the speed of a bullet is immensely high. He was also able to re-direct Misaka's Railgun.

The Imagine Breaker (幻想殺しイマジンブレイカー Gensō Goroshi (Imajin Bureikā)?, lit. "Illusion Killer") is the mysterious power that currently resides exclusively within Kamijou Touma's right hand, allowing him to negate anything supernatural such as esper powers, magic powers, and even to his own admittance, God's miracles that come into contact with his right hand. More specifically, it is the power that can only exist in the right hand of Kamijou Touma due to "Imagine Breaker" finding meaning in being inside Touma's right hand.

The Alpha Stigma is one of the four curses that was passed on to humanity from the Dark Gods of ancient times. The alpha stigma gives the user the ability to analyze and copy any magic they see used, even only partially completed spells as demonstrated by Ryner when fighting the spies from Gastark. It is even shown that not only can Ryner copy magic but it seems he empowers it as well as seen in episode 1 and in the light novel he can overpower dozens of other mages while using the same spell as they are.
In most cases of alpha stigma bearers they don't live past their childhood, when an alpha stigma bearer is put under extreme emotional distress they activate the madness of the alpha stigma and cause themselves to destroy every one/thing around them including themselves, and is almost always irreversible unless acted upon immediately after activation (closing their eyes). When Ryner was a child through some ritual performed by his father and the sacrifice of his mother he made a contract with the goddesses and place a seal on his alpha stigma, allowing him to deactivate it with enough will power.
The ritual his father performed also placed a Dark God within him, when his madness is activated the Dark God takes over and makes him several times more powerful than a typical alpha stigma user, it also gives him the power to dematerialize anything he sees (demonstrated in his fight against the Estanbul soldiers and the Gastark spies). Because most Alpha Stigma users don't live past their childhood, they are not able to activate the true power of the Alpha Stigma. By the end of the series, Ryner had just begun learning about the special power he possesses. It was mentioned by Ril Orla that he was "The Solver of All Formulas" it was also mentioned later by Sion and Lucile in mysterious contexts. Sion had also said that he wanted to kill Ryner before his true power activated, so he could save Ryner from his fate before he became immortal and forced to walk the desolate and fiery war torn waste lands alone for all eternity.

Lelouch's Geass, bestowed upon him by C.C., gives him "The Power of Absolute Obedience", allowing him to plant commands within a person's mind upon eye contact in a manner comparable to hypnosis. Activation of his Geass is visually represented by the manifestation of a Geass Sigil in his left eye. Commands dictated in this state are written into the minds of the designated targets once the Sigil projects from his eye to theirs. Lelouch could initially toggle Geass activation at will, but subsequently lost this control and suffered from an affliction known as "runaway Geass" near the end of the first series.
In the second season, C.C. gives Lelouch a contact lens that blocks his Geass, but indicates that his Geass will eventually grow powerful enough to render it ineffective. Lelouch's Geass evolves to cover both of his eyes in episode 21 as a result of pushing his Geass to the limit, trying to command a massive psychic entity.

Kanzen Saimin (完全催眠, Complete Hypnosis). It controls the five senses to the point where it can make the target misinterpret another person's form, shape, mass, feel, and smell to be an enemy's. The initiation condition for the hypnosis is to show the enemy the release of Kyōka Suigetsu. After seeing it just once, this person will completely succumb to the hypnosis. Afterwards, every time it is released, this person will fall under the thrall of the hypnosis.
The hypnosis is long lasting; the Visored are still affected by Kyōka Suigetsu even though they were hypnotized at least 110 years ago. Because the spell works when one see the ritual, those who cannot see are consequently immune to the hypnosis. When Aizen turns off the hypnosis by force of will, the image shown melts away or shatters. The complete hypnosis of Kyōka Suigetsu is absolutely flawless; even if the target is aware of being under the hypnosis, they cannot resist its influence.
The hypnotic abilities of Kyōka Suigetsu make it a highly useful tool in combat, for Aizen can create simple or complex illusions to deceive his opponents. For example, by creating a decoy of himself, or other illusions to distract his opponents, Aizen can hide his own movements and attack with impunity. His opponent will remain focused on the illusion until it is too late to react.
While the illusions Kyōka Suigetsu creates are quite powerful, those with considerable power and skill themselves may be able to note slight differences in the illusions compared to the real thing, even if they are not able to determine what exactly is different. 4th Division Captain Retsu Unohana detected something was amiss with Aizen's fake corpse, even though she did not realize what it was until seeing Aizen alive. The Reiatsu of Kyōka Suigetsu gives it away to those keen enough to sense its actual presence past the illusions created by its complete hypnosis. The sole way to escape the ability of Kyōka Suigetsu is to touch the blade itself before complete hypnosis is activated.

Shinra Tensei is the Deva Path's ability to manipulate repulsive force (斥力, sekiryoku) at the user's will to push matter or techniques away.
Depending on the amount of chakra the user puts into this technique, its strength and area of effect canbe greatly increased. By using this technique as a defensive measure, all attacks directed at the user will be deflected, spiritual or physical, no matter the size, nature, power or mass, it can easily shatter wood, bones, metal, or stone walls. It was also seen capable of repelling flames caught on the user's body.
Shinra Tensei can be used on a larger scale for massive destruction. A massive amount of repulsive force is placed above the target, crushing everything beneath in an enormous explosion.

Dust Release (塵遁, Jinton; Viz "Particle Style") is a combined nature transformation kekkei tōta, an advanced version of kekkei genkai, made up of techniques that mix earth, wind, and fire-based chakra to create pulverising force. The techniques of this nature initially form as a small three-dimensional object (e.g. a cube, a cone, etc.) composed of chakra that forms between the user's hands. When the technique is released, the form expands and surrounds the target. This nature allows the user to manipulate molecules, giving them the ability to disintegrate anything on a molecular level within the boundaries of the three-dimensional form.
Dust Release techniques seem to require a certain amount of time when preparing the three-dimensional object, making it possible to prematurely halt the technique before it is completed, but once it's finished, the technique can be fired with astonishing speed. The hands also play a crucial role in preparation of techniques, interfering with the user's arms can hinder the technique. Dust Release techniques also appear to be rather chakra-taxing.

Instant Transmission (瞬間移動, Shunkan Idō; lit. "Instantaneous Movement", also translated as "Teleportation") is a technique for traveling long distances instantly. This action is usually accompanied by the user placing his index and middle fingers on his forehead to help him concentrate, though if extra time is taken the technique can be performed without this aid. It was taught to Goku when he was on Planet Yardrat after his deadly battle with Frieza.
