While studying today, I brought up the Lord of the Rings and Star Wars movie soundtracks. Separating the music from the rest of the films really does help emphasize how great some of these pieces really are.

So I'm curious; what's your favorite soundtrack to a movie? Mine are the titles mentioned above. (Base on the music, not on how much you enjoy the film.)

Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith. Easy.

John Williams is the reason i'm going into Music Composition.

Just listen to Michael Giacchino's work (Lost T.v. Show all seasons, Incredibles, Star Trek). I would totally have to agree that John Williams, Hans Zimmer, James Horner, James Newton Howard are amazing Composers! The first Pirates movie was actually composed by Klaus Badelt not Zimmer, Zimmer took over the last of the films. :)
