I don't necessarily have a favorite, but I do love these more specific genres (in no particular order):

Zombie Genre (Zombieland, Shaun of the Dead, Walking Dead, Dawn of the Dead)
Western (True Grit, [The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly], The Quick and the Dead)
Drama (Truman Show, There Will be Blood, One Flew over the Cuckoo's Nest)
