A good bit of us have seen the anime and maybe picked up a few Japanese words after hearing them often. What are some of your favorite Japanese words you have picked up from the Naruto anime? You don't have to limit yourself to just the Naruto anime, you can use other animes if you want to.
Baka is my favorite Japanese word, I like it much better than "fool" in English. I think it's fun to say and I like hearing it in different animes, it's just funny to me for some reason. Some other ones I like are "kami" (if you can't tell already) which translates to "God" and chikara which translates to "power". Especially when Pain says both of these words, it sounds damn epic!
I've been watching a whole lot of One Piece lately and "nakama" is another Japanese word I like. I'm not all sure what it translate too though since the subs I watch just use the word "nakama", is it "comrade"?
Anyway, post some of your favorite Japanese words you've picked up from various animes and post what they translate too since most of us probably wouldn't know the meaning otherwise.
