I know this might have been discussed a few times before but I haven't seen a thread about it recently. Please give a clear explanation why you like the game rather than: "TEH GAMEZOR HAD KEWL CHARKTORS"
My favorite game of all time has to be Fallout 3. In my gaming history I wasn't really into it until I got this I think back in 2008/2009. Popping in the disc, I was a bit skeptical about how the gameplay was going to be, but I quickly adjusted to the system and loved the fresh open world environment. It was TLOZ-esque in a sense. You could walk miles and miles, and you were lonely. Another thing is the followers, this game really captured me and being lonely was quite horrific. Dogmeat and Fawkes were strong and fun characters, and they really improved the experience for me. Otherwise, the story, though short, is patriotic in a sense. It reminds you of what extremes people do to save humanity. The addons apart from MZ were great, and the items and side quests they offered were awesome.
Great game, can't wait for fallout 4, I played new vegas, but 4 is going to be better, I can tell.
