When it comes to literature I like most of the Anne Rice vampire novels (Interview with a Vampire, Lestat, Queen of the Damned). The Hobbit was very good (I thought LOTR was kind of boring as a book, but the story and different cultures are amazing). Some of the Steven King novels like The Shining, Misery, and Salem's Lot are great.

When it comes to video games I always enjoy the Final Fantasy series (especially IV, VI, VII, VIII, X), Suikoden (I, II, V), Breath of Fire (I-IV), and Lunar Silver Star Story/Eternal Blue.

Anime my favorite of all time is Record of Lodoss War, then Naruto and DBZ.
