My personal favorite would be Roku, specially on his prime. Dude had a dragon, truly mastered all of the elements, had tons of wisdom but acted when needed. Plus I love his adult design.

Avatar Wan because literally the dude figured out all of the bending types by himself and he was able to fuse with Raava making it interesting.

As much as I want to pick Wan, I gotta pick Korra. She is the definition of "You don't know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have".

Aang, I got so much love for the little guy and I like his mannerisms a lot. I also love the way Aang handled his struggles. It seemed realistic for the most part, especially when he freaked out against Ozai.

Wan is pretty close though, I like the way he became the Avatar in order to correct his mistake. He died trying to correct it and I give him credit for that.

Korra was great but they ruined her character near the end, Aang stayed consistent throughout. So I'd say Aang.
