[Discussion] Favorite Arc Villain?

I'll say Rob Lucci because of their fight but at the end of current arc it will be Doffy. The guy is a bad ass of a character.

Blackbeard and his crew didn't really kill WB. The sickness and the battle killed WB, WB had BB crying like a little girl about to kill him when he died standing over him. BB then proceeded to shoot his corpse to make himself feel better for crying at the face of death(something NONE of the badass characters-Ace,Zoro,Luffy,WB etc. would do) BB's a coward and the only reason he's any kind of force in OP is b/c he can extinguish DF powers during a fight and stole the Gura Gura no mi.

They killed Whitebeard. Sakazuki contributed earlier on. Doesn't change the fact the BBP's were the last ones to touch him before his death, that means they killed him. Although of course there were a lot of other contributing factors to assist them in killing him.

Just because you dislike BB by calling him a coward etc. does not mean you can dictate whether he is or isn't an arc villain.

I never said he wasn't an arc villain, insecure much? I said he didn't technically kill WB, WB was already dying when they started shooting his corpse. If WB hadn't died he would have killed BB right there on the spot and none of BB's crew was able to stop him from wiping the floor(literally) with their captain. BB himself never even touched WB, he had his crew shoot him but WB was still alive.

I don't think it would disqualify him as an arc villain because he still spurred the entire war by turning over Ace, had he never done that Luffy wouldn't have invaded Impel Down or MF so he still counts as an arc villain.

Also, I misspoke(as evidenced by my edit, I meant he was dying/on verge of death) Saying BBP's killed him would be like saying someone was shot in the stomach and is laying there dying when some guy comes and shoots him in the head and he dies then claiming that second man killed him despite the fact he would have died regardless of the second mans interaction.

WB died because the story dictated that BB needed the Gura Gura no mi and because of his illness. If WB took time to die from anything it was the sword through the chest the umpteen cannon balls and the whole war not BBP's they delivered the last punch but by no means was it the final punch, regardless of whether they had shot him or not WB's time was up.
