Favorite anime series (top 5)

Well I wanted to help the base take a breal from all the minato threads so i figured we could discuss our top 5 favorite animes together

1. COWBOY FING BEBOP!

2. FMA/FMA brotherhood (I consider both to be different sides to the same coin)

3.FLCL

4.Gun Grave

5.Trigun/ Samurai Champloo (couldnt choose)

Now this is just my opinion (although I think bebop makes a strong case for greatest anime ever) and picks 2-5 are not in a particular order. A few runner ups included Gunslinger Girl, Darker than Black, Yu YU Haku Show, Kenshin, Naruto pt 1, Ghost in the Shell, Soul Eater, Witch Hunter Robin, Blue Gender, Love Hina (loved the manga mostly), Big O, and Evangelion. Have fun guys and let me know what types of shows you like to watch!

haha thanks for the vote of confidence!! I feel like quality taste in anime is something that is earned through years and years of watching and rewatching of shows and then trying to find other shows with similar styles and storry structures. And about death note i loved the first few ep but after that the show just seemed to go flat for me, but maybe im missing something because it has a VERY large following. What do you think?

I like doing top 5 because i think it makes us more honest with oursleves lol. That way we can only pick the best of best. Although you could have always listed the runnerups like I did

Everything else to too hard to choose from 4 or 5. So many... Yu Yu hakusho, Code Geass, FMA, Jormungand, Black Lagoon-- Man so many I don't feel like listing them all =(.

Its been a while since I since Cowboy Beebop (late 90s early 2000). I just have the soundtrack on my playlist

Yeah I know u would've been suprised, wanna know why I put it on top? Coz of mah man ulquiorra....he's so baws lol he made bleach look like the best anime xd but besides bleach I'd but code geass, hellsing, berserk or black lagoon would top the list lol but ulquiorra is still so baws lol :snick: I watch helluva a lot of animes so it's so hard to choose :T_T:

Yes. I actually prefer anime more over manga, 'cause it's easier for me to follow. I don't actually really know why I like long anime...I like some short ones too, but I actually started not long ago with watching anime so...
