Itachi and Kisame have the best chemistry out of all the akatsuki pairs. Even better than Konan and Pein.
I can just see those two getting along together on a regular basis, while Kakuzu and Hidan despise each other. They do have respect for one anothers abilities, but doesn't change the fact that both hate each other.
Deidara and Sasori are too iffy for me to get into. Deidara just gives Sasori praise and playfully mocks him. Meanwhile Sasori is far too serious and doesn't even make an attempt to give his partner the same pleasentries Deidara gives him.
And Pein and Konan seem like they have a dead-marriage relationship. There was once some friendship between them, a strong bond. But now Konan is fairly dead inside and gloomy. And Nagato isn't even who he once was and is focused on the Akatsuki's goal. He even brushes Konan's worries for him aside.
Meanwhile, Kisame and Itachi just seem like they get along, have fun, and work well together. Kisame even went to comfort Itachi when they found out Sasuke "died" to Deidara. And he didn't even judge him for crying!
So yeah, I like that pair because of their relationship and how they interact.
But! You should include Deidara and Tobi, that pair was hilarious. =D
