1. Deidara - he's cocky and rude, his art is unique and his fighting style is loud, but effective. I like Deidara for his bravery to meet any criteria and also for his backbone. His character design stands out, which makes it that much more noticeable to like him. He also has his humorous side when he is around Silly Tobi or even Sasori. This is why I like him the most. He's a funny character, but he can be serious if he needs to be.
2. Hidan - he is,most of the time, clueless, thoughtless, and also cocky, but he catches my eye because I like the base of his characterization and how he goes about things. His rituals can be very good to see, and his ability can be very dangerous, but that is more of a reason to like him.
3. Sasori - he has good development. He is also the only one out of the Akatsuki to turn himself into a tool, which makes the impact of his resolve that much more badass. His art is eternal beauty which is everlasting and comes in handy for future generations to use. His legacy still lives on which is another reason why he is a respected character, unlike Hidan.
4. Kakuzu - this one is greedy, but his greediness became his strength. I like Kakuzu because of his immortal ambition of using human hearts to prolong his life even further. His hype with Hashirama can never be proven, but his battle prowess is still a cut above the rest. His many jutsu's bring taste to this boring manga, and not just the ordinary explosion after explosion spam.
5. Kisame - this guy should be respected more, not for his strength and chakra, but for his loyalty to his group. Sacrificing his own life by his own hand just to keep Intel away from the opponents. That death should be outlined. Kisame is not really a character I liked regarding his character design, but I like his personality and his drive. You may call him obedient, but I find that to be a good quality in Kisame.
and lasty we have..
6. Konan - she is one of the few female characters that can look pretty and badass at the same time. Even if she died, she still looked cool in her death, and she also has development, even if it is little, it is still positive. I've never been fond of her abilities, but I always liked her quiet, yet charming stance, and she also represents Lady Angel.
The ones that I did not mention are for a good reason.
Tobi, Obito, Nagato, and Itachi are just mainstream overrated characters that I never liked.
>Itachi was solid in the beginning of the series but as time went on I never cared for him as much.
>Nagato was ruined the moment he got seduced by a childish little book.
>Tobi/Obito should not have to be explained. Obito became shit the moment he took off his mask. Silly Tobi was only good for comedic purposes, but after that it became stale, and then Obito trying to turn good and redeem himself was retarded and just made him look even worse, as if everything he did was just going to be erased now that he joined the good side.
