Richard Prior was funny as hell. Jim brewer had a few decent moments. Dave Chappelle did some good stand up. The old Eddie Murphy stand ups were awesome. Goerge Carlin was a really good one. That fat Mexican guy I cant spell his name but hes pretty funny I'm sure you know who I'm talking about. Chris Rock had some good on-stage moments.

One additional thing I would ask though,Is what do you prefer in a comedian?

There's the just funny type and there's the funny but makes strong points type.

Chris Rock said that he loves black people but hates n****rs. Cause N****rs are the ones who rob from you and do crime etc etc,whereas a black person is just a black person etc etc.

He made a strong point but was kinda funny too....thoughts?

Ni***r has lost its meaning as an insult towards African Americans at this point I believe. Just like in the South Park episode where fa**ot got changed to an insult towards bikers. These days it pretty much is just an insult for scumbags, or just a-holes in general. I know its root is still kind of offensive, but the meaning has changed, at least for some people. It depends on who is using it and what context they are using it in though. It still can be used as an insult towards blacks, yet these days that's what it's actually used for like maybe 25% of the time.
