This was news months ago.. Also the guy wasn't 11.
You know I'm not defending the molester, in fact he got what he deserved, but for the dad to be completely off the hook is a bit strange to me. He beat him horribly. Now let's say it was a woman that was found abusing the boy for three years, do you think the father would have gotten charged for beating her the same way?
That guy looks like a beat up Potato.[SUB]You must be registered for see images[/SUB]
Yeah this doesn't sit right with me either. If he's a grown man and it's a teenager, he definitely did more than what was necessary to apprehend the boy. He'd have gone to jail, a teenager going to jail is basically a guarantee for a ruined life. He deserved to be punished, that is strongly certain, but not like this.

He was punished accordingly, but was it really the father's place to become judge, jury and executioner? Don't get me wrong, I understand why he beat the kid, I can't say my emotions wouldn't drive me to do the same. But when you get to emotions, you throw out rationality. What I'm trying to say, maybe this father did more than he should have because his emotions got the better of him. I'm not trying to defend this kid, but I don't feel like beating him to a pulp was needed. The term "teenager" can be a bit vague. There's a huge difference between 13 and 19. I'm not sure if the video said how old the molester was, but I'm guessing he's at least 16+, which is plenty old enough to know that one shouldn't molest little boys. The molester acted and got punished accordingly. Go Team Father.

While I can't blame the father (if I am not mistaken I heard that this was going on for a while) what he did was get revenge and the law shouldn't allow that.
