Is there a manga if so is it good and does the anime follow the manga

Nope. Fate/Stay Night's original source is a Visual Novel. The anime follows the second route somewhat. Doesn't do a good job, but still enjoyable.

No, sirree. Visual novel's the real deal and there are three routes (Fate, UBW, HF). Lel Only route that's the closest to the VN is UBW. :lol

There is a manga actually, but it is simply not the original source. Routes are the only thing I consider canon for now(plus zero).

There is no manga, it's a LN. I'm not sure if ufotable did a good job adapting the series but it is enjoyable to watch. I liked Fate Zero a lot.

The anime(fate stay night) is based on Eroge(adult visual novel) in other words its a porn.. while FateZero is based on Light Novel made by a genius author.
