Its not "someone else saying" its from the studio itself the post above is the translation of the article containing that picture that's why i told to read properly and check the source and Ufotable CEO stated that in his twitter acc ( you want source ? look for yourself),
I've shown you enough, if you still have trouble understanding such simple matter then its your loss.

As it seems the thing about 'an actual new route' was a mistranslation. Old topic, but I've read this on quite some places and thought I should post it here.
Nasu was consulted about "new scenes", i.e: background detail that the VN never got into, but he hasn't written a whole new route. The "anime new material" part refers to them wanting to explore Shirou more to showcase how much what 4th war effected him so people can understand him. Why he acts like how he does about making other people happy and all. The anime-original part came from/(misunderstood) from Nasu talking about material that he did not include into the VN explaining the scenes. Again, The "material not seen in original" refers to adaptation possibly containing material Nasu has not shared in any character materials or the VN itself, not the key plot points. Like Minor thoughts or some thing of a character.

So in short, no route confirmed as of yet. 'New anime only route' thing was a mistranslation. Only posted it for the info.
