His speed is actual speed, and has no restraints, unlike Sasuke's 'teleporting' speed.

Sasuke was able to keep with Madara with his raw speed.

You don't get it FTG got Minato there, anything after was his normal movement and Madara could easily counter. The only way Minato could have hit Madara was if he tagged him with FTG but he didn't so he teleported in front of him. Sasuke just cut Madara in half when he took Kakashi's eye and was about ready to use Kamui, so he didn't have his full attention. Minato can teleport from Village to Village and so far I haven't seen anybody move that fast besides Tobriama but his FTG is a little slower. As for pure speed 8 gates Gai trumps everyone.

My point was nothing is faster than FTG, I never said Minato's pure speed was the fastest. For pure speed I think Gai is because well in 8 gates his speed apparently warped the spaced around him and he was moving so fast Madara couldn't track his movements, so far I haven't seen enough from Naruto, Sasuke, and Madara(current) to say one of them is faster than 8 gates gai.

FTG is not exactly Minato's speed, it's a technique that results in Teleportation. That is a misconception. Madara moved out of Sasuke's range, which means by the time Sasuke realized that Madara had moved past it, he had covered even more distance for him to cover. For him to surprise the guy with foot speed that was above his previous tier proves how fast Sasuke was.

Madara was not distracted. Where is your proof? Madara saw Sasuke coming and outright commented that how fast Sasuke was. He didn't venture anything along the lines that, 'my god, I got distracted'. There is nothing in the manga to prove this.

I maybe the odd one out of this base, but without FTG, Minato's Base Speed is nothing to bawl over. He's fast, but certainly not the fastest.
