Putting out the fire with his dark elven boots, he had to quickly hurry for there were sounds of horse hoofs approaching.

He quickly ditched his stuff in a nearby bush and began to climb the tree with great effort.

Soon after , three horses surrounded his camp site occupied by a human on each one.


" He was most definitely here recently," one of them said.

"So they're on to me" Spike thought

Lionel : -watches Dante walk away then turns to you- so where did you go?

A blood trail followed Spike wherever he went. A certain urge to kill would overtake him and he would kill 2-3 people at a time.

"I guess they finally decided they have had enough" he muttered.

The three horsemen struck up a conversation about their next plans and if they should call for more infantry. They then decided to go back to their settlement and retrieve more help.

Gripping the reigns of their respective horses , they galloped to the direction they first came from .

Spike descended down and retrieved his belongings before the sun fully set.

He had to follow them. He couldn't risk having a whole army out after him
