Fans what got you into Naruto?

I saw it on tv (I believe Toonami) when Naruto used sexy jutsu and trained Konohamaru to use. That was the first episode I saw and then afterwards I started reading the manga.

I watched Sailor Moon and Inuyasha for a while, through elementary, middle (sailor moon) and high school (inuyasha). My now roommate and bestie showed me Naruto though, he just started playing episodes and i got into Naruto and Sasuke's background and the love triangle and got hooked. Before i knew it i was reading the manga desperate to find out more.

My ex girlfriend. She was a huge Naruto fan and I finally gave it a chance on Toonami with her.

The second Naruto punched through Haku's Ice Mirror jutsu, I was hooked. Been my favorite ever since.

It was around 2003 (I believe), and I was really into anime. Toonami was probably the biggest influence of that. I had heard of the manga by then, but an acquaintance had told me it was being made into a anime series. So, pretty much waited around a while and watched the first arc when there was only about 12 or so episodes made at the time. I think they were about part way through or just starting the Zabuza arc. But everything I had seen to that point even though it wasn't much was still excellent and its been a wrap ever since.

Toonami got me into Naruto around 2005 I think.

Shonen Jump. It was the forest of death arc, I had seen the comic since the first fight with Zabuza, but never read it.

Ironically every glimpse of the manga I had seen was of Sasuke having one of his genin moments, so I was confused on why it was called Naruto in the first few chapters I read. The first chapter I read involved Sasuke using the curse mark for the first time and I loved it from then on.

I love fighting games so back during the gamecube era I seen the First Clash of Ninja game and from then I was hooked.

In 2003 I got into Naruto. A friend told me about this awesome ninja, Kakashi and I watched the first episodes in Japanese. And after that I was hooked, lol good times
