Too much excuses when the evidence says everything about "the so called villain".

Hahahahaha the funniest is when juubi was about to take over obito he suddenly remembered rin then the crap he was able to take control hahahahahaha kishi in flaw mode..mehn that made last week chapter horrible for me....naruto,bee and others worked hard to control their beast..another is that we re talking about the legendary ten tails which probably should take 30% possiblity to be controlled, obito has to fight it with physical power like the sage, naruto and bee did not emotions gosh

To be fair... Nobody really has a good reason for doing what they're doing in this manga. Nobody.

He would have turned on innocent people? Whored out his own beliefs to serve a new one? Highly doubt it. That was not his hand pulling out to Obito, it was Hinata's. The idea that he could be like Obito is whatever, but his motivations for turning evil, if nothing else, would be far more believable.

No parents. Neglected for most of his developmental years. Lost his teacher and then a comrade... Way more compelling reasons to turn "evil" than my gf died.

If Naruto had also been manipulated like Madara who knows. Think about it, Naruto continuously tries to force his beliefs onto Sasuke so he's more like Obito than than we thought.

Oh I agree I wasn't defending Obitos motivation it is shit, but as I was pointing out to the tard that's not the point of the thread.

Oh... I should read the full comment next time :shy:

Carry on

I still think Naruto fans can bash Obito all they want without being hypocrites. Personally, I think Obito's a pretty solid villain. He gets enough emotions out of people to be empowering.

But Naruto fans taking shots at Obito's motivations is not hypocritical in my eyes. Those two characters do share similarities and Naruto might have been like Obito, but his motivations would be far different and in my eyes more believable.

Use your head. In case you missed the point nobody is into Obito's crush that pops 10 times in a row giving him the strength the accomplish his bullshit plan because he can't get over his old friend.
Even Kakashi who is the most guilty didn't turn evil.

How's does posting a scan of Obito stating its because you let Rin die, prove that Obito bashers who are Naruto fans are not hypocrites, please just stfu and stop babbling on about irrelevant none sense.

You and I may not agree on this topic but thank you for at least understanding what I'm trying to point out. I'm embarrassed that this other guy that's posting irrelevant shit is a Sasuke fan.

Exactly. And that's why you bash them both like a non-hypocrite.

Thank you for understanding, midway Into my rant it turned into me bashing Naruto. That wasn't my intention, I want people to see the parallel that you stated.

Lol, but he negged me for lacking "basic comprehension".

I already stated that it wasn't my intention to bash Naruto or the the fans, I just got carried away with my rant. My fault, but my I still stick by my initial argument.

I can respect that, but here is my thoughts.

Obito CHOSE to return to Madara. He was now able to freely move, but instead of saving Kakashi and heading to Konoha, he chose to return to Madara in his time of grief. Furthermore, he himself decided this world was hell/didn't exist upon her death on his own, but then realized he could use Madara's plan to find the real world.

I do not bash him per-say, but I find his reason for war is very immature. He literally did so because Rin died, but he tries to say it is also because the system is flawed. His problem...is when he explains the flawed system, it simply rotates around the fact that it killed Rin... and once more that this world isn't right because Rin died in it.

To finish, he's killed more than half of the shinobi world because he wishes to create an illusion of Rin and he will make copies of anyone he sacrifices; however, what he fails to understand is that they will truly be dead so they will not dream like he plans to.

EDIT: My only other problem with him is his recent attitude change. Before he gave zero shits about who he was, and was just a badass; however, with the mask off... he changed.

1. His personality reverted to a child-like one: Constantly trying to goad people into quitting... EVEN after they've said screw you.

2. The stuff I mentioned before the edit.

Other than that... he's a pretty great character. Even though he has a couple of faults IMO... he is still a wonderfully developed character.

One of the major battles for Naruto is bringing peace about the world. He adopted this from his sensei (Jiraiya), and from then has taken steps into making this dream come true (first would be trying to rid the world of this bottled up "hatred").

The idea behind Obito is that he once had similar thoughts and feelings. It wasn't until after he experienced the harsher sides of life that he labeling such things as impossible. Now this is where Madara comes in; instead of fixing the real world, why not construct a whole new world that can truly bring about the good side of the world? This was obviously captivating to Obito, and thus we continue to where we are now.

Rin is a symbol of the paradise that awaits once this new world comes to fruition. She is his personal slice of the cake. He lost a dear comrade, and wants to save her. In fact, he probably wants nothing more than to have the old team together again. Now I understand that it can be annoying when he literally spams panels of Rin over and over again. There are other ways Kishi could go about showing his motivation and I get it. But all and all I don't think he's THAT terrible...

He's not exactly planning to be a holy savior or anything, just the typical "do what needs to be done" sort of persona. Guess it's just something else to place him as a "dark Naruto" role.
