This is my first fanfiction, criticism is appreciated.
Loathing his mission more and more as he prepared to leave, a crisp breeze blew by. The sent made his heart race a beat faster. Shikamaru shook his head quickly, “Can’t think of that, have to get going.” He set out with his escorts from The Sand. The sooner he was to The Sand, the sooner he could get back to watching the clouds, the one thing that’s not troublesome.
“Damn,” thought Shikamaru, my luck just keeps getting worse. He turned to see Temari walking towards him, how much more troublesome could this mission get? “It’s been awhile Temari, not since those troublesome Chuunin Exams.” Temari had been a bother ever since their meeting. She was a Sand kunoichi who was always degrading him, she outranked him, and had to come to his rescue in his first mission as captain. Though she would always surprise him by being relatively decent at times, even coming to his defense on a couple occasions. She’s the one person Shikamaru can never get a clear read on.
“I could have done with longer,” Temari said as her mouth curved into its usual smirk.
“Nice as always I see. So where are we meeting Gaara? Let’s get this troublesome thing over with.”
“Gaara is too busy today; you’ll meet with him tomorrow.” Something was off thought Shikamaru. Seeing the rare sight of a confused Shikamaru, Temari’s smirk became even greater. “Instead your under my orders today.” She said while she turned. “Come on.”
“Oi! So after all that trouble you better have something important to do Temari!”
She sat up, laughing to herself. The golden sun of The Sand lighting up her hair in streaks. “Heh, come. Your task is about to begin.”
Shikamaru walked over to where she was lying. Struggling to not notice the way the sun fell through the blonde strands so familiarly. He sat down next to her, “So what’s this task?”
Temari nodded her head upwards, “This. The clouds baka.”
“Heh, just thought about the last time this happened.”
“Oh really? How troublesome right?”
A smirk curved into Shikamaru’s mouth. “Actually, not at all.”
Shikamaru slouched back onto the bench, not about to let Temari’s rare kindness go to waste. The clouds fluttered by, but for the first time he couldn’t he couldn’t focus on them. His eyes kept fluttering over to Temari, that smirk still on her face. Temari’s eyes quickly catch Shikamaru’s. He could see the warmth that was in her cheeks spread to the rest of her body. This game that had started earlier clearly wasn’t done.
“Heh, something so troublesome?” He pauses, “What’s another day?” He met Temari with his own smirk and pulled her to him. After all, everything was troublesome in comparison to this.
What’s Another Day?
Clouds… clouds were easy. Clouds didn’t force him to take troublesome missions constantly. No, that was the Godaime, and the only thing Shikamaru hated more than a troublesome mission is a troublesome woman. “Damn,” he thought, “can’t be helped.” Shikamaru lay about, weary to leave and start the three day trek to The Sand. If anything could be more troublesome than the Godaime, it was this looming war. The allies primarily communicated with messenger hawks, but ambassadors would travel about for the final checks. Tsunade had chosen Shikamaru to be the ambassador to The Sand; claiming, that his mind was one of the biggest assets The Leaf had to offer. How troublesome.

Finally, the four man cell reached The Sand, and the escorts departed. Shikamaru looked around to identify the ambassador from The Sand he’d be dealing with “Oi! Leave it to a man to be late for such a thing.”

Shikamaru had to quicken his pace; Temari was waving through the unfamiliar streets. Clearly to annoy him, playing some sadistic game of cat and mouse that he could never win. Sure enough he just barely catches a glimpse of her sneaking into the Kazekage’s Tower. Shikamaru slid in just moments after, following the looks of passersby to find where Temari had fled to. Finally he came to find her lying atop a bench on the roof.
“Oi! So after all that trouble you better have something important to do Temari!”
She sat up, laughing to herself. The golden sun of The Sand lighting up her hair in streaks. “Heh, come. Your task is about to begin.”

----------------------------------------
Shikamaru just looked down at Temari, seeing her eyes glisten while they traced the clouds lazily. A crisp breeze blew by them. The sight of Temari basking in the sun with a breeze going through her hair, it brought him back to that lazy day after the Chuunin Exams had finished. How could a day with so little occurring or being talked about hold such significance? He felt warmth quickly crawling its way into his cheeks. Such a thing didn’t go unnoticed by Temari. She shot him an antagonizing glare. “What Shikamaru?”
“Heh, just thought about the last time this happened.”
“Oh really? How troublesome right?”
A smirk curved into Shikamaru’s mouth. “Actually, not at all.”

Temari couldn’t help but feel the heat race into her cheeks. She began to drift to that day as well. The shadows falling across Shikamaru’s face, those brown eyes that could read anything with perfect clarity. Certainly was a day to remember. The recollection fell apart as Shikamaru let a chuckle out. Her cheeks flushed more.

Temari watched as Shikamaru turned to face her. She could nearly see the gears in his mind turning as he looked into her eyes. The look was so penetrating, so dissecting. It made her feel vulnerable, but it also brought warmth to new regions of her body. His lips began to move, “This war is so troublesome.” That’s what he had to say!? “But… it makes you grow up. It gives you the strength you need.” Temari’s heart raced as Shikamaru rushed his lips into hers. A wave of ecstasy hit her so great a slight moan escaped her lips. She began to greet his lips with even greater vigor than he met hers. She could feel him beginning to harden; she was beginning to ache for him as well. A smirk came to her lips as the thought came to her. She wasn’t someone to let a man take control of her.
---------------------------------
Shikamaru suddenly felt himself being pushed onto his back, what was she up to? She began ripping off his flak jacket, then his pants. Temari then removed her own black kimono. Shikamaru’s breath caught as she grabbed his member. If this pleasure was so great, what was to come? Temari crawled onto Shikamaru seductively. She lowered herself onto him. Feeling her encompass him brought upon a fresh shot of ecstasy for Shikamaru. Temari began to grind into him, her breasts swaying in the sunlight. Shikamaru could barely contain his excitement. How much longer could he control himself?
-----------------------------------
Temari didn’t expect anything to be capable of feeling so good. Shikamaru’s hardness in her as she grinded so deeply on top of him… she could barely breathe. A new moan escaped her as Shikamaru began to penetrate her harder while he grasped her tender breasts. This was too much. How could she lose control to this man? She finally gave in to him. Screams of his name began to rise as she came for the first time. Moments later she could feel the warmth of Shikamaru cumming inside of her. She slid off of him, laying her head on his chest. The clouds were particularly good today.
--------------------------
Shikamaru woke up to find Temari already awake. His body still sore from the night of passion that had only so recently ended. Temari looked to him, a mischievous smirk on her face, “So, when should I tell Gaara to expect our arrival?”
“Heh, something so troublesome?” He pauses, “What’s another day?” He met Temari with his own smirk and pulled her to him. After all, everything was troublesome in comparison to this.
