FanFiction of the Year suggestion?

*Changed the topic to only FF of the year wereas the art of the year already excisted*​

I was going through the contest forum when this idea strucked me.

I know we already have FFotm(FanFiction of the month), meaning that we got 12 winners a year, one each month.

But i was thinking, wouldn`t it be awsome if NB Held a FF of the year contest once every January where they pick the 12 winners of last year and what they won with (For instance, Winner of FF of the month July 2010: "RokuNR ; The 6th Great Ninja War, chapter 7, 8 and 9) and make them compete for the ultimate prize(Do not have to have a prize, it could also be for fun like the Art of the year was)?

Like said when January of next year comes, they have the normal FF of the Month January as ussual, but also have a seperated one, where all the winners from last year gets picked for a poll which they call FF of the year 2010 for example.

So If there were 12 different winners in 2010, we have 12 members to choose from in the poll, but if 2 members won two time each that year and the rest one time, there would only be 10 contestants.

What do you think?

But as I said, you would have to win one of the 12 months that year to participate. You can`t just post "I wish to take part" like the ussual contest each month.

EDIT: There is a Art of the year, but not a FF of the year.

Art of the year already exists. However it's something that was made solely on my own initiative. I made it at the end of 2009/start 2010 and it was to thank all the people who ever participated in it. It wasn't something that I made for prices, only for the fun and I have no intention to change that as then the entire point of it gets screwed over.

Well that answered my question of the Art section, and my intention was to have a contest of the year with or without prizes.

So it does already excist in the art section then...

But what about the FF section?
So let`s change this subject to only FF of the year then..

That could be done too, but 12 members in one poll sounds good to me

I'll hold one in December. But since this will be the first i'll have it open for all fanfics from the past [they must have atleast been in the ff voting and gotten a few votes though.]
