I had made a fan fic with this name before but that was so long ago. I hope you guys enjoy this version.
Death of Peace: Tournament Announcement
It has been twenty years since the fourth shonobi war. The world was at peace for the time being.
There are messenger hawks released from their cages in the Leaf Village. They have paper attach to their legs. They both fly their different ways. The hawks then arrive in their destinations. On the outside of one it read, “To the kage of this village”. One of the letters was taken to the Sand village. Gara, the Kazekage, received the letter and opened it up. He began to read aloud. “Dear Gara as you know the new genin will be graduating tomorrow. I’ve heard you guys have amazing talent this year, as do we. I thought it be would be fun to start the tournament a little early this year. We will hold it at what do you think?” As Gara completes reading the letter he smiles. “What is it Gara”, asks Temari. The rest of the kage receive their letters as well. They all send their letters back saying that they agree.
A few days later.
Birds are chirping, the wind is blowing, and the young children are playing. The messenger hawks return to the Leaf. In the Hokage office there is a knock on the door. As a shonobi enters he announces that all of the kages have agreed to be in the tournament. “What about the non kage we invited? Did he send a letter back, asked the man in the hokage robe. The shonobi who announced this to the room shook his head no. He then left the room. A man sitting on the couch in the room looked at the hokage suspiciously. I hope they don’t become overly competitive like last time. The hokage then spoke. “Shikamaru why do you seem so down? Are you worried about your kids losing to some of the others?” Shikamaru then stood up in anger. “No I’m not upset about that. My kids are going to beat yours easily. I’m just hoping that you don’t go crazy like you did last time. You know you two can get crazy when it comes to these things Naruto. We just got done making the payments to repair everything you two destroyed last time”. Naruto began to laugh as he picked up a child that was playing on the floor the whole time. The child began to smile as she saw her father laughing. This young girl’s name was Akane Uzamaki, Naruto’s youngest daughter. Unlike Naruto she had red hair like any Uzamaki female would. She asks her dad who Shikamaru was referring to. As Naruto attempts to answer his daughter a shinobi runs into the office and announces that someone has arrived in the village. Naruto, Shikamaru, and Akane arrive at the front gate. “So who was Shikamaru talking about”, asked Akane. The gates opened and there stood Sasuke Uchiha, Naruto’s friend, old teammate, and rival. “That guy that’s standing right there, said Naruto with a smile on his face. The two then shake hands as they great each other with a smile. Shikamaru still feeling uneasy about the situation.
