Fanboys=Joke

Yh um I've seen a few threads recently having a go at fanboys...... I can't see why! It really grinds my t*ts.

Ok erm firstly ,techniqually, according to the rules so many people follow on this base, everyone is actually a 'fanboy' because i'm sure that everyone has a favourite character, right? A fanboy is just someone who takes a particular interest in a particular character and I know some people who claim 'not to be fanboys' secretly are like this too.

My next point is the most important. I know people are P*ssed when people say one character is better than another, but its stupid to say its because you're a fanboy.
For example: 'Naruto would rape sasuke'

Now, the example above would resulted in the original poster getting flammed. BUT WHY?? Surely it's opinion and they have a right to say it?? They might hate sasuke but does that mean they're fanboy to Naruto?:flaw:

The whole Itachi vs Minato thing is a joke. If you choose Minato and someone else chooses Itachi why do you automatically stress that they are an Itachi fanboy? Aren't they simply giving their opinion which is the whole point of a forum? :flaw: There is no real way of knowing who's stronger unless they fight so whats wrong with abit of debating?? Fanboy this fanboy that, B*tch I have my opinion LOL.

The thing is, If someone posts something saying 'Sakura is stronger than so6p' then obviously they're wrong. But once again this doesn't mean they're a fanboy they're just giving an opinion. An opinion (An extremely dumb one nontheless)U_U

So obviously, the point here is its really dumb to call someone a fanboy just because they don't agree with your opinion. That actually shows you're a fanboy to a particular character because you have trouble just accepting someone else's honest opinion U_U.

I'm not saying silly comments should always be said to just be opinion but, with the example i gave above, how can you have Minato and Itachi fanboy's?? Don't people just have favourite characters and opinions?

PS: My favourite characters are Minato, Madara and Kimimmaro but I'm not a fanboyU_U.

Obviously not to the extremes of 'Iruka would defeat Jiraiya' But everytime I see, for example, Naruto would beat sasuke so many comments say its because that person is a naruto fanboy.

Everyone is a fan of a character. The term "fanboy" is just pejorative. Only people who can't arguing call those who express their opinion "fanboy".

Something like that must not be taken seriously.

There are 2 or more types of fan/fanboys.
There are those who defend a character within reason and have logical reasons behind their opinion/s.

Then there are the one's who talk absolutely non sense.

So much truth in one post,well done OP,just for example i was called fanboy by some dude on the Sasuke vs Konoha 11 thread because i stated sasuek would win,with manga evidence and examples,that said dude disregarded my examples and claimed I was a Sasuke fanboy

Irony is Sasuke is not even in my top 5 fav characters,so in conclusion on this Forum anyone who doesn't like your opinion labels you with the "fanboy" tag,it's sad tough but nevertheless it's the common trend on here.
