You're either a fanboy of Itachi, Naruto, Sasuke, Minato, Madara, Kakashi, or Obito on this site. Everybody else has like 6 fans at the most. But the ones I listed have hundreds and tons and shit.

Actually, I'm fine with not having too much fans of characters I like because we won't have people who give us bad names, like there are for major fan bases.

Madara had endless hype before his reveal. Obito is Tobi and a main atagonist. Minato is the father of Naruto and he has one of the best appearances and coolest jutsus. I think it's justifiable.

The ones you mentioned are the most fleshed out and personalized characters with intriguing, relatable stories and power. They are also among the strongest and make up the core plot. It's only natural these characters have the most fans; they are the most likable and important.

Because Naruto is a shonen manga. And who reads shonen? Kids and teenagers (mostly). And what do people with these ages like (mostly)? Explosions, flashy stuff (in this case jutsus) and power-ups.
Those characters have a lot of that.
I'm referring to fanboys though. Fans are another story.

Sakura has big fan base as well. Shikamaru and the other K11 are secondary characters.

Out of them, the only one I can say I really like is Sasuke. And he makes it around my top 7 in a top ten list. Possibly six. And Kisame has at least eight fans.
