From my perspective, FS doesn't really bother me. A series can show as much fan service as it wants as long as the series itself is good. Sometimes I feel like people make way to much of a big deal about it, acting like its some kind of cancer Lol.

Now, I can see why people fuss over an over abundance of it. I tend to deal with that quite well. I can sit through High School D x D no problem, however I can see how it can distract others from other aspects in a series.

As long as its not the main component (plot takes a back seat to fan service) of the anime I am good

The only reason why I'd see me not liking it is if the fanservice is too 'teasing', per say. Rather full-blown nudity than goddamn cleavage.

This. Most of the time, I don't give two cents about it. But being over useless to that extent is just...smh.

There is nothing wrong with fanservice (even nudity ) , if it fits the theme of the series .

I don't like it in general. But I can bear with it if it is not very excessive, isn't meant to promote the main plot a or if it is only meant for comic relief. U_U

I don't mind FS at all, i just hate it when they make an anime just to show FS with no story nor character development at all so that bothers me there.

D x D is one of those FS that FS is really needed for the main character to evolve as proven in volume 10 (not going to spoil).

Maken-ki is one example of bad anime, FS took over the anime and every episode that came out was pure fan service and the little story it had it went away.
