I want to talk about the thing that has been said after Episode 3 was released, Tribies said it best;
Another coherent POVTribies said:No this is not an anime, this is what a few people in Japan feels that is going on IN Japan right now, by the meaning that Men don't want to date women because they could just as well use the money to buy gaming cards or games, while women don't have time due to their careers and such. If this keeps going on there will not be a Japan in 70-100 years due to the fact that people barely date or start families.
shiny-shell said:tl;dr: Man goes through breakup. He’s too consumed by 2D anime culture that he expects real women to be pure yet meet all his sexual whims. Girl he’s dating can’t live up to these unrealistic expectations; she tries to reach out to him, but he doesn’t care because he can go back to his perfect 2D waifus anytime. He becomes depressed and disillusioned with females as a whole. A damning piece against otaku culture and society as a whole’s objectification and sexualization of women. It’s satire by being so overt with tits and ass in your face.The young man has recently gone through a painful breakup. He’s depressed, lying in bed alone staring into space vacantly. His room is messy, there’s an unfinished project on the table, and the video itself loops so he either feels stuck and/or isn’t getting better any time soon. Given the mecha figure on the table and the Evangelion bishoujo figures on his shelf, he’s probably an anime otaku. (They’re specifically Eva girls because Hideaki Anno is involved with the studio that made this animation.)
We then see a happy daydream/wet dream through his eyes. It’s oversaturated with bright colours, skimpy clothes, and unrealistically bouncing boobs. Note the anime tropes: the tehe face with the tongue sticking out, blue hair, thigh-highs, shimapan. Otaku culture and anime bring him comfort. He has a harem of flirty hypersexualized women who dance and want to please his every whim. A titstravaganze is any (straight) male’s fantasy.
Then it goes a bit deeper and gets a bit darker (literally, the colours turn from bubblegum pop to black and red darklight). Somehow the images/music get even more sexual, with the women now pretty much naked with piercings on their nipples and clitoris, shaking their butts, showing their nipples, and dangling the clit piercing around in a flagrant display of sexuality. They’re like alien super strippers. daoko’s voice in the music gets lower and whispery giving a sensual feel to the bassline. The girls’ piercings are red, tied together and to their neck. They were already supersexualized, but now they’ve got bright target points pinpointing their sexual points. The red strings connecting them might be referencing the red string of fate, as in, he’s reducing their ‘fate’ to their sexuality, especially if you take in mind the collar which is a symbol of submission. The male is taken aback when the overlord alien women comes up to him and the one girl’s clit piercing is pulled bringing her to ecstasy. He’s being confronted by the female’s will and enjoyment of *** (since the clitoris has no literal, direct pleasure benefit to male partners). He’s then squeezed under the weight of the overlord’s tits, suffocating him. Blood. Death by ***.
Then he wakes up and is confronted again by the ‘leader’. She has the weird 4-eyed mask on and he feels supremely uncomfortable being cornered by this hypersexual woman. His bishoujo figures turn on him with evil eyes. She takes off the mask to reveal a normal face, but she’s overloaded with energy and pukes into his mouth. The process of vomiting is similar to the sexual response cycle; so here she’s essentially ‘releasing’ or cumming on him without his consent. He chokes, and we’re back inside the black dream.
We finally see his ex: a sweet-looking girl. The images of the hypsexed alien girls are covered temporarily by memories of his relationship with this real girl. She’s distraught and crying; she only smiles in the photographs. The man is apathetic as she reaches out to him. Clearly he left her. But after the fact he feels guilty, and we see the alien girl eating him, so he’s literally being eaten by guilt. The sweet girl then becomes the alien overlord girl.
Basically, he’s an anime otaku with destructive ideas of what women should be. This girl he dated couldn’t live up to his expectations of the perfect innocent ***** like his anime waifus. She was trying to be a good girlfriend, but he didn’t care because he had his 2D world to go back to for comfort. He became sexually frustrated when she didn’t live up to this hypersexual image, and now he’s disillusioned with females as a whole. Even the title itself alludes to how selfish he’s being: “ME! ME! ME!”
He looks angry and becomes a mech soldier (a power fantasy) shooting the hypersexed alien sluts. He can’t get the unrealistic things he thinks he’s entitled to, so he lashes out against all women. Because even when the women are enjoying themselves, it makes him uncomfortable. They’re not the submissive yamato nadeshiko he ‘deserves’.
He again tries to reach out for this girl he misses, but she slips through his hands. It’s his fault she’s gone and she’s not coming back into his life (he has a look of pained realization as she falls into the void). He tries attacking the female hive, but it’s a losing battle. It ends him being eaten alive by the alien strippers.

My POV of this is that i really don't mind ecchi nor fanservice but when it takes the plot away and they just focus on fan service and nothing else then we got a problem. For some reason 50% of the animes that has been released from 2013-2014 have fanservice and they take it to a whole new level. They take away the history, ruining it completely.
What do you think about the whole thing that has been happening to the anime industry and japan itself revolving the fan service and the plot/story of an anime/ova lately?
