Family and people that were friends attacking me for my belief and call me atheist

I think something is wrong with them. I'm not even an atheist. I would be consider Pan-agnostic but I like to identify as nothing.. I explain that to them and they ask me stupid stuff like "Do you believe in Jesus or Yahweh?" I'm like "No, I don't claim any of those religions.Why would I believe in that." I don't even like calling myself pan-agnostic. I only use that when I explain to people what I would be. A pan agnostic is someone that believe that anything could be god(s) but doesn't claim any god(s). I also believe there's a possibility that we don't really exist. Some of these people even though I worshiped satan when I clearly told them I don't believe in that. The fact that all of the people that attack me are black makes it even worst because a lot of black people tend to be religious. The ones I know are christians so I asked them why they would worship a religion that was used to help enslave their ancestor and they just ignore my question and start saying random crap.

If these so called friends attack you for your beliefs, then you deserve better. Friends like that aren't friends at all, if they don't understand and accept that other people have different beliefs. Then they'll never understand and accept you.

That isn't right, a few years ago I would have considered myself the same. But my fiance has me looking at things differently. No one should talk down on someone else's beliefs just because they're different

Well its tough. If I was in your predicament I can tell you for a fact my family would not talk to me and I'd probably have to pack my bags. If you don't believe the same your wrong in many peoples eyes

Lots of people hang on to faith/religion as an anchor to help them feel grounded. Other people want to use that anchor to drown non-believers. I hope your family lets it be, and that your friends grow to be more accepting for your sake and theirs.

maybe if you lie and tell them you are a christian they will stop attacking and harassing you. ironic isn't it?

choosing to be what you are, means you will have to deal with people like that. unfourtanatly there are very few people that accept different views then their own. you just have to learn to deal with it.

Its really a shame how religion was used to enslaved rather than to liberate. Nowadays, being religious means backwards, dumb, and very violent.

Being religious means that you are more open and helpful towards others. Meaning ALL Gods creation rather than a specific group.

Religion teaches us what is right and what is wrong. But it is ironic how people whom are dubbed "religious" are often oppressors and do the complete opposite of what religion teaches.

Being agnostic is a better way to go. You are more forced on being open-minded.
Atheists do not require morals and most often sin because they dont believe in heaven and hell. They prefer to indulge themselves in enlightenment/pleasure and wouldnt care about others. This is why the illuminati has also now become corrupted much like our 3 main religions.

Religion teaches us to respect and science teaches us further understanding of things to better comprehend other peoples perspective on things. But our greedy selfish nature has managed to warp that into our benefit. To live a life without conscience and to enslave others to do your bidding for your own enjoyment.
