Chakra splitting interactions with Prana. Discussed this with LOK earlier. I raised the issue of splitting an S-Rank mass of Prana in half. Normally, when you split an S-Rank you get two A-Ranks. If this applied with Prana, you'd have two masses worth 30 chakra. But this makes no sense because you gain a surplus of 20 chakra. So from here on Prana split will simply split the quantity of chakra. An S-Rank split in half will possess 20 chakra in each mass, rather than the full 40. The situation where it creates masses of 30 chakra just doesn't make sense.

I want to note this before moving back into the RP training and onto the first technique. I had to discuss this before I wanted to teach Era of Gods out since this is really mainly applied for that since it deals with Prana directly.

The technique applies the usage of raw Prana and manifests itself as such." Aegon stretched out his arm, enveloping it in an aura of brilliant blue Prana. The aura danced similar to flames, jumping off his arm with grace and agility. Then, following this, the Prana reformed itself into a mini figurine of a knight holding a sword in a defensive stance. The knight began to fight an invisible opponent with his sword, a beautiful dance and display of swordsman ship seemingly done independent of Aegon's own will. "In time, you will come to such a level of mastery. But before we can proceed we must learn how the Prana is manipulated in its raw form. So, let's begin. Like before, produce a mass of Prana about the size of a knife. Then have it strike this blade...." He pulled a throwing dagger from his equipment belt and threw it into the air directly upward.

Description: This technique encompasses the basic applications of the Surge of Evocation. The Surge of Evocation is the usage of Prana in its raw and unrefined form; whatever this Prana touches is transformed into ethereal energy and transported to the Throne. Prana will neutralize and be neutralized by techniques that possess the same amount of chakra. Similarly it will be useless against attacks of greater chakra and will not be weakened by techniques of lower chakra. However when used on living targets this ambient energy will feel extremely frigid to the touch and induce cold burns on contact or even freeze a target solid for higher ranked applications. D to B-Rank uses will inflict cold burns as well as all of the effects of frostbite. A-Rank uses will cause necrosis of the afflicted parts of the body, making them appear dark purple and bruised to signify the death of cells. Affected appendages and organs will cease to function, becoming completely immobile in the case of limbs. S rank uses will freeze the struck targets solid. In the case of Surgebinders, who are immune to all of the above effects, they will be transported to the Throne when struck by the prana of another member of their clan. Era of Gods can be split into three separate applications, all based on the same principle: constructs, armors, and familiars made of prana energy.

Pride of Gilgamesh – Gates of Babylon
The Pride of Gilgamesh allows the user to produce Prana either from the user’s body or on the battlefield. The Prana can only be manifested within short-range of the opponent if the user is also within that range, in which it must be created a minimum of one meter away. This restriction does not apply if the user chooses to release the Prana from their body, rather than manifest it away from themselves. The energy can be released from the body via various hand signs depending on the user's rank in the clan. This can be done to generate constructs bound only by the rank of technique used and one’s imagination; alternatively the user can simplify the application by creating streams, waves, and constructs of Prana. Manifested Prana is capable of taking solid form, granting tangibility at the user’s volition. Non-projectile uses of this technique are capable of levitating and can be governed through mental commands and a sustained chakra cost. B-Ranks and below are sustained through 5 chakra per turn, A-Ranks and above require 10 chakra per turn. Created constructs will last three turns per usage unless they are prematurely cancelled. S-Rank applications can only be used once every three turns and no Prana in the user’s next turn.

Embrace of Ishtar – Armory of Akkadia
This variant allows the user to manifest armors, auras, and coatings of Prana around their body. This can be used to enshroud a single or multiple body parts in a layer of colored energy. These defenses can be made to fit the body like conventional armors or enveloping it in a formless manner. The first type can be created with additional limbs and appendages such as wings which enable flight. The user can also constantly reshape it and create small-scale weapons from the body of the armor, though at the cost of one of the user's three moves. It should be noted that these constructs remain attached to the main body of the armor and so act as an extension of it. The second type generates a “flowing aura” that appears to flicker like an open flame. This aura is often made as an upwards column that is streamed into the sky with its base remaining around the user. It should be noted that its power is not split or divided as all of the Prana energy is part of one whole. The armors can exhibit tangibility, although this does not hinder the user’s techniques and their passing which can freely move in and out of the armor per the user’s will. B-Rank and below applications require being sustained with 5 chakra per turn while A and S Ranks require 10 chakra per turn. This technique can last a maximum of three turns. S-Rank applications can be used twice per battle. After an S-Rank application expires the user is unable to utilize Prana single turn.

Divinity of Merlin – Garden of Avalon
The Divinity of Merlin allows the user to produce Prana in the same way as the Pride of Gilgamesh and can be shaped in the same way, limited by rank and imagination. However, unlike the Pride of Gilgamesh which creates static constructs the Divinity of Merlin creates constructs imbued with a limited form of sentience – familiars. These familiars can be created anywhere on the battlefield, with the exception of short-range of the opponent unless the user is also within that range; in this case the familiar cannot be created within two meters of the opponent. This restriction does not apply if the user chooses to release the Prana from their body. Familiars are capable of taking numerous shapes, not simply limited to animals. These familiars are also capable of taking solid form at the user’s volition. Familiars are capable of remaining on the battlefield for four turns. B-Ranks and below are sustained through 5 chakra per turn, A-Ranks and above require 10 chakra per turn. S-Rank applications can only be used twice times per battle and no Prana in the user’s next turn.

Note: The upper echelon of the clan (Servants and above) are capable of using this technique without hand signs for B-rank and below. A-rank will require two hand signs and S-rank requires three.
Note: The lower tier clan members (Phantasms to Guardians) will require 5 to 3 hand seals for all ranks, decreasing as they they ascend in rank.

Mashu shook her head in understanding; as she watched her mentor being to dual with the Prana knight. She was quite amazed with it and following suite she would draw upon the power within her. In her right palm, she would manifest her Prana into a bright sapphire blue color.

"Let's try it..." she said as she began to mold the prana's shape into that of a dagger of her own as the one in the air begins to descend. Mashu tosses the dagger with a swipe of her hand but continues to manipulate the Prana as it comes into contact with the blade. This causes it to be instantly converted into Prana and sent to the Throne.

"Like that?" She asked as she pants slightly; just getting use to the manipulation of the energy.

Aegon announced himself by knocking on her door, knowing she was likely still busy training. "I've returned. It's time we finish your training in the Surge of Evocation." This time would be different, however. Rather than learn in Avalon, they would journey to the fields to study the Dynasty of Kings.

The walked was peculiar, something Tomoe would notice within a few minutes after their stroll began. The halls of Avalon began to feel infinite, an endless pathway that went straight ahead. Much like an optical trick played on people in a house of mirrors, even Aegon's form would begin to contort as they walked. It seemed that Tomoe was no longer in Avalon, or even on Earth at all. A few moments later, Aegon disappeared all together. The Avalonian halls warped and vanished, melding into nothingness and blackness until suddenly taking them to a completely unfamiliar place - a tropical island. Was it a dream? A trick played by her mentor? It was impossible to tell, everything had gone from fluid and contorted, to warped, to nothingness; and then suddenly an island would appear before Tomoe. Palm trees spanned outwards in all directions. And beyond that, ocean. Pure ocean outwards, with no end in sight. A titanic hurricane raged in the far distance on the horizon, causing a gentle breeze to rush through the island. There on the beach to Tomoe's left, a cloaked man sat cross legged in the sand.

Time for the second step in mastering the Surge of Evocation. So, Era of Gods and its subtechniques all involve the manipulation of raw Prana. All that Prana, when it comes in contact with something, transports it back to the Throne depending on the chakra inside of it (and assuming it isn't another person). So, since that involves taking stuff to the Throne, the Dynasty of Kings involves bringing it back. And it comes in two applications.

Conquest and Domination. We'll start with Conquest, as that's the simpler of the two. Please explain it to me so I can see if you understand it, and ask any questions you have. Then we'll move to Domination, which is the harder and more precarious of the two to use.

The two applications of this technique, Conquest and Domination, deal with returning entities within the Throne to the field; thus these two applications require previous absorptions to have already occurred.

Conquest of Alexander – Bastion of Achaemenid
Through this ability, the user will be able to return absorbed objects, techniques, and parts of the terrain to the field. They will be manifested on the field in the form of Prana before becoming corporeal and usable as tangible entities. Upon becoming corporeal, the transported entities will still possess all of the effects and properties they possessed prior to absorption; this is because the Throne places objects within it in a stasis-like state. Objects returned will continue to move with the same speed and momentum that they had. This creates the effect that appears almost as if time had stopped and then later resumed for them, a trait of the Throne. It can be summoned facing a different side and/or in a new location altogether, although it must be outside of five meters of the opponent unless the user is within short-range. Techniques returned through Conquest possess the same damage they did prior to absorption. The technique’s rank applied is directly proportional to the technique rank, size of matter, and complexity; this means returning an A-Rank boulder would require an A-Rank application of Conquest. The S-Rank version of this ability can be used once every four turns and no Prana in the user’s next turn. The Bastion of Achaemenid can only be used four times per battle.

Domination of Vlad – Tower of Yggdmillenia
Unlike Conquest, Domination involves concentrating on returning the chakra contained within objects or techniques to the user’s body. The user systematically isolates all of the chakra contained within a number of techniques they’ve sent to the Throne, even if only chakra is present (in the case of raw chakra techniques and similar abilities). It will then be teturned to the user’s body as Prana energy in order to seamlessly integrate into their chakra network, making it available for later use. The user can utilize this ability four times per battle and the maximum amount of chakra that can be returned with each use is capped at a maximum of 100 chakra points. This does not mean this ability will always return that amount, the value is always dictated by how many techniques the user has absorbed and how much chakra they contained. For example, absorbing 10 A-Rank techniques and integrating them with the user’s system will increase the user’s pool by a full 100 chakra per turn. Objects that Domination is applied to will no longer carry their damage value once used on; this is because the objects, while stored in the Throne, will become chakra-void and instead become classified as simple terrain usages when used with Conquest of Alexander. Naturally, this is only possible with matter-based techniques and not those composed of energy. Domination of Vlad is considered an S-Rank technique.

He kept his gaze outward toward the sea, but slowly and meticulously reached for his hood and pulled it down. As it fell, the enchantments that disguised him did as well. Long silver hair flowing out from it as he stood up from his seat on the beach. "Perhaps your sensei was never there at all. Maybe this is all a distant childhood memory, daughter of the Surgebinders. Somewhere your mother took you before your birth. Or perhaps this is but an illusion, an ephemeral dream...." He turned toward her, revealing his colorful eyes and a warm smile. "I go by many names. Stargazer, Dreamwalker, Magus.... But your Grandmaster knows me as his mentor - I am Merlin."

Just to clarify, Era of Gods is the technique that uses raw Prana in the Surge of Evocation. Dynasty of Kings is not part of Era of Gods; it's just another technique. They're both related though because one transports to the Throne, the other takes stuff transported out of the Throne.

And you can't control the momentum of it. How it goes into the Throne is how it will come out. So something traveling at you at like 10 miles per hour (specific speed in the RP doesn't actually matter, just for the sake of explaining) will come out of the Throne at 10mp/h. The only way you can manipulate this is by using gravity. So because you can change where it comes out and the direction it is facing, you could have it fall on top of the opponent and use natural gravity to pull it down upon them. So a kunai that is in a resting position and not moving, and is then transported to the Throne, will come out resting unless you drop it on them. It goes in with whatever momentum it has, and comes out with the same. You only have control over where (within restrictions) and the direction it faces.

I want you to craft your own example of using Conquest to demonstrate that you understand it.

Her brows formed a rather frowning figure, as they moved in ward but her grip on her katana's hilt loosened up slightly as she heard the individual speak. Merlin...it's the first she's ever heard of him but to find out that he has some sort of connection to Grandmaster, she wanted to know slightly more. " For a mentor, you haven't seemed to age a bit...is that an attribute of being a Surgebinder too?" Tomoe unknowingly asked without knowing anything. A wild but reasonable assumption one might add, as she contines to stare around the terrain, curious of her location. "Where are we, Magus? she asked him."

In the mits of battle, Tomoe had continued to utilize her Oni shaped familiar in order to keep the enemy at bay - allowing to keep absorbing his attacks and sending them to the throne. However, as Drake jumped into the air Tomoe had quite enough of his frivolous evasion tactics and thus utilizing her power of the Throne would cause the previously absorbed earth to form back into the coperal world but rather than from the ground - the earth would be summoned above head. Materialized above five meters above him the earth comes down with a quaking force as it slams into Drakes body while the Oni familiar from below aims it's skeletal arm up into the air in order to smash into Drake's body. A dual pronged attack leaving the fate of the individual unknown for the time being. The three huge boulders did their jump.

To find out this isn't one of the infamous displays of the Surge of Transcendence, also to find out Grandmaster had a sister...Tomoe wondered what's she like but that was another thought for another day. She turned to the individual, noting his awkward body language but couldn't help but chuckle slightly. "At ease, Magus. I'm not that attractive and yes your right, it is coming closer. Do you perhaps know where we can find shelter? Or can I make one?" she said as she began to weave several hand seals though they weren't actually meant to cast a technique, more so just for assurance of her ability. ""Also, tell me more of this sister...I've never heard of her in the citadel of Avalon. I'd think she would be a high ranking officer but...nothing. "

Alright so this basically allows a binder to return chakra from the Throne from techniques they absorbed into their bodies in order to "regenerate" thier reserves. What it does is basically isolate the chakra and return directly to the body in which case if taken from a solid technique it loses it's power and simply becomes free form terrain if the user returns it later on. This doesn't apply to energy doe and simply will dissipate. As for risks? I don't see any glaring ones as the technique basically extracts the chakra rather than th whole technique and that chakra on it's own is harmless though I can be wrong on that.

Much to her chagrin, Tomoe would discover that she was unable to mold chakra on the island. Her handseals would fail to spark a response from the chakra within, feeling almost as if she did not possess chakra at all. It would certainly be an alarming sensation for a warrior such as herself. Had the Stargazer stolen her chakra? Restricted her abilities with some advanced magic or seal? Or was it perhaps the unique nature of the island that caused such a phenomenon? "Yes. We'll probably need shelter won't we? But oh! I see your handseals have failed you...huh, I wonder what could cause that?" His countenance displayed a mixture of perplexed contemplation, but also a hint of playful trickery. It was clear he had some notion of their predicament and that he understood the mysterious circumstances surrounding the island in the middle of the ocean. "Perhaps there is another way we could build a shelter here. Do you have any ideas?" He turned away from Tomoe and walked down toward the water. The waves began churning slightly more violently, the sea foam rising as the crest of the small waves came crashing down on the beach. The winds, like the waves, were also beginning to pick up. It wouldn't be long until the storm was upon them.

He purposefully brushed aside her question about Amara. It was a concerning question, as it wasn't his place to infringe on a Radiant Knight's historical understanding of the Order. Such a thing is what Galahad scrubbed from their histories, and in Merlin's infinite wisdom, had let slip. He was but an observer, a distant watcher to ensure humanity's well being. No matter how much he may disagree with Galahad's decisions in the past, he knew he must respect his decisions. With his face turned away from Tomoe, his brow furrowed slightly and he contemplated on how to switch subjects. "How do you believe you got here, Tomoe?"

Epoch of the Pendragons is a sub-technique of Dynasty of Kings. Originally it was meant to be part of it, and it was called the Unification of Arthur. Memes happened, weeks passed, and here we are. It is now a standalone technique and the final technique of the Surge of Evocation. using the same principle as Era of Gods, you surge Prana throughout yourself to enter the Throne. Explain both versions of this clearly and succinctly.

Description: Considered the sibling of the Era of Gods and Dynasty of Kings, the Majesty of the Pendragon involves surging a large amount of Prana throughout the user’s body in order to enter the Throne. Their body, and everything on their person, will disappear instantly in a flash of light reflecting the color of their Prana. The user will then reappear amidst another flash of light at a location of their choosing; despite its nature, this process takes a few moments. Reappearing is accompanied by a crackling sound, creating both an audible and visual queue. This is enabled by the fact that the ethereal energy constantly exists within their chakra systems. Twice per battle the user can utilize a stronger version of this ability to prolong their stay in the Throne. This allows them to exist within the alternate dimension as Prana, which effectively places their body in a stasis. This halts blood loss, the propagation of poisons, the duration of active techniques/abilities, and any other aliments or conditions. This will happen for as long as the user is within the Throne. The user can only remain there for a maximum of four turns per usage. As long as the user re-appears on the battlefield on in the same landmark, then using this technique will not count toward escaping battle. If the user opts to re-appear in a different landmark then they will effectively forfeit the battle and the event. This only applies if the user utilizes Majesty while engaged in battle and not travel purposes. The first application, considered A-Rank, can only be used once every four turns. It can also only be used four times per battle. The second application, considered S-Rank, can only be used twice per battle and operates on the same cooldown as the A-Rank version. S-Rank applications render the user unable to use S-Rank or higher Prana for the next turn, if the user remains in the Throne for longer than a turn.

I originally suspected it was my usual...accidental use of my powers to teleport to random places. It would explain why Sensei isn't around, but it was...strange. I usually don't teleport like that, which leads me to believe you summoned me here, Magus. You are fully aware of my in ability to mold chakras here and quite frankly no I don't know how to make shelter here... " Tomoe said as she walked about three meters behind, near the water front. Her red eyes gleamed with frustration, while she can entertain his sheepish behavior for some time, this patience ran dry quite fast.

She sighed, defeated as to what to do she lead back in the soft white sand, she can hear the rolling thunder approaching ever so closely. "Why did you bring me here Ma...Merlin. It's apparent you are dodging my questions about the sibling of the Grandmaster, you're also obscure about what you know of this place. Stop holding your tongue, or else. " Tomoe got up, sword in hand as the tip of the katana rested on the Stargazers shoulder. "Or I'll gladly remove it for you. " she said, bluffing, or at least hoping he'll take the bluff and begin to speak.

Finally my favored CCJ so far, but this is as you say the final key to the Evocation set. The user will surge prana through their body and teleport to the throne but what both versions different is that one is done nigh instantly to teleport to the throne and comeback immediately while the other allows you to maintain your stay at the throne basically.

There was the fiery spirit Merlin had been waiting for. Up to this point, Tomoe had seemed so calm, so well tempered. Finally his antics had broken through that layer of personality. He could sense her approach as clear as day, he could hear her feet drag through the sandy shores. The moderate gusts of wind blowing her attire around. And so, he let her place the steel on his shoulder; without moving at all, he felt the cold steel press down on him sending throughout body. But Merlin hadn't a care in the world; with his left hand he reached across his chest to gently place it on the blunt edge of the blade. He squeezed his fingers on the edge, running them up and down to feel the blade. "Now, now. I wouldn't be a very good teacher if I just gave all my students the answers..." And just as soon as the sword was pressed against his shoulder, so too would it vanish into the wind. Within moments of him saying this, Tomoe's blade's form would suddenly give way and transform, from tip to hilt, into the same sand that was beneath their feet. At that same moment, a gust would wind would suddenly rush through the island from the storm; it carried the sand from the blade backwards, throwing the sand at Tomoe's chest and face. It was clear the storm had intensified again.

Merlin cleared his throat and then turned to face Tomoe again. With his back now facing the wind, his long hair and robes would begin to blow toward her. "Come now, Daughter of the Surgebinders. I have such high hopes for you. Such reliance on chakra, reliance on the ethereal and the ephemeral will only provide temporary repose. Do you know what I love about humans? Well...I love many things about humans. Mainly their spirit.... But I also love their ingenuity. Their will to create, to build, and to innovate. That is sometimes all you need is a simple dream." He smiled warmly yet again, despite Tomoe's somewhat callous remarks. As he finished speaking, he waved his left hand slightly. Behind Tomoe the palm trees would begin to warp and reshape themselves. Their trunks bent downward unnaturally, yet almost as if they were formed of clay they refused to break. Rather they reshaped themselves with remarkable pliability. The palm fronds would interlock with each other, forming a suitable and durable roof that seemed to be able to resist the prevailing winds that had begun to pick up significantly. Within moments, the group of palm trees behind Tomoe had shaped themselves into a suitable hut. He motioned with his head for Tomoe to look behind her.

"You are right. You did not teleport yourself here. But, I did not summon you here either. I am Merlin, the Stargazer, the Dreamwalker, and Grand Caster. I am the greatest kingmaker to ever walk amongst humans, yet I am but a mere observer. It is not my place to interfere in Galahad's family any longer."

Tomoe watched as her sword turned into mere white sand, seems her bluff with meet with even more resilience from the magus. Tossing the hilt aside into the sand, she heard all the words of Merlin but her frustration was growing much larger by the mintue. As she turned towards the strangely formed hut, she moves away from Merlin without much of an answer, however she stopped before entering the hut. There she rests on the floor in a lotus position, untying the ribbon of her hair allowing it to fall to flat out of it's ponytail, and once down she continues to question what's going on. "Ok, I get it. You control this area, your magical and stuff...but it's frustrating me how unnerving you are. I just wanted to train...to get better at control my powers and here I am stuck in the middle of this damn island, no sight of any one worth while. Just a relic of the past passing his time "observing". " she said, her eyes glowed with a bright golden coloration as the prana that surges in her being acted in response to her emotions. Small tears welled in her eyes, as she silently spoke. "I just want to go home "

In terms of speed, I'm assuming it's instant since it's basically space time ninjutsu and the visual/audio cue can be heard by anyone near by but I assume if I do it at a far distance they won't really be able to hear it.
