that's different. that is a revolutionary progress. HxH/YYH and Naruto are completely different. is is ok to be inspired by something but copying tothe extent of plagiarism is bad. try to be as original as can be.

Kishi didn't copy paste the whole thing though. The overall concept may be same but the approach is different. Besides Chunin exam arc is the only thing that matches the most with HxH so you can't go and talk as if the whole series is a rip off of HxH.

Whole series, yes. Part 1 Naruto, nope. Chunin exam arc is quite a huge portion of naruto part 1 and was really the arc that kick started Naruto.

It was just a part of the series. You can't decide everything based on single arc. It's same as saying that whole Op series is shit because first few chapters were shit. This point of yours make no sense at all. Besides , being inspired by other mangaka would might make Kishi a bad mangaka but by no means it would effect the reputation of the series. Besides Naruto has it's own concepts and approach which are different from that of HXH but the over all structure of the arc is same though.

If Kishi f**ed things after exams arc then Naruto would have hit the ground ages ago but that's not the case here. It has very bad ending though.
