[Question] Fairy Tail reboot

What is this with a ft anime reboot on april 4th does anyone know?

I've never really watched Fairy Tail and I'm not sure If I should. It's too much to catch on I guess.

I'm not sure, they might be starting from the beginning and cutting down on the filler content, or it might just be a continuation of the anime.

After all the drama about the anime being canceled, I don't see why it would be rebooted merely a month later. Seems kinda weird to me.

Edit Now that I think about it I heard they would be re-running fairytails best episodes or something, I doubt it will be filler doesn't fit.

They're going to be doing the best episodes of FT, until the manga is a safe distance away from where the anime is at. Either way, I'll be watching it! I need something to look forward to every weekend!
