August took a real 180 in this chapter. He starts by saying that Zeref is the only hope for Humanity and acting like he's the good guy, then he decides to murder Cana just to see how Gildarts reacts.

By the name of Chapter 525, it's most likely going to tie into Lacarde's past. One of August's previous monologues had him saying that Lacarde grew up without any parental love from Zeref, an easy parallel to Cana and Gildarts.

Pretty curious how all this will play out - is Zeref the big final boos, or Acnologia? Could Zeref really have good intentions after all? Didnt he say a while ago he wants to destroy the world?
