I never complained about a chapter before but this chapter was so much asspull.
It was about as bad as when she lost all her senses and was still able to win.
She's the definition of an asspull character. I think at this point mashima does it on purpose. And ailens chAracter made no sense at the end.

Can Acnologia just show up and defeat everyone already?

This chapter has some of the most AWFUL writing in any Manga I've read...and that's saying a LOT. I've read a shit-ton. Mashima just went from making asspulls to outright jerking over Erza. Like, wtf?


Nakama bullshit "Oh, my bones are broken and only one hand isn't, but let's jump up, move my arms, feet and spine anyway!" :Omg:


I rate this weeks instalment a 0/10. It deserves nothing more than a 0. I think Mashima must have been high on something, or maybe he vomited the chapter. I don't know. But I know I won't be reading this for a while.

Next chapter?

Erza will probably gain some stupid powerup or something. Maybe connected to Dragons. Or we'll hear about how 'amazing' she is.


Classic Mashima needs to go. Now. This arc has been a literal disaster.

Come on people, is this your first manga (or Shonen at least)? It was completely obvious Erza would win this fight one way or the other. And Irene still having feelings for her daughter despite everything that went down isn´t that far fetched, even if we apply real world psychology.
