It will be a good war from what we've seen so far. Laxus is stills suffering from the fight a year ago, but he's almost foreshadowed his own death at the end of the war. I think that will hinder him in this fight. But i'm glad the next chapter is him fighting, he's badass and needs some spotlight.

It's nice that Gajeel want's to watch over them and he's kind in his own way to level i hope he gets his shot in this one. I feel it can go either way, Erza is gonna support using her requip on her friends so that they can fight without worrying about their clothes hence why she went when injured, or, gray will take this one with demon slaying magic and lets face it he doesn't need clothes anyway.

So it seems everyone is scared of Achnologia in this one, and it comes back to zeref needing fairy heart. I hope we get to see the three great magics, maybe Laxus will use Law to go out with a bang and save the guild. Over all great chapter and this is a great ongoing war, much better than Naruto war IMO.

I though gajeel was about to lock levy in some type of cell till the war ends or some shit :lol seemed like something he'd do. I feel like those two came to get very close in that one year.

I don't think that's the case.
If what you say is true, Acnologia would have had many chances to kill Zeref.
The problem is that they can't kill each other, meaning they're either of equal strength or that they just can't die. So, in order for Zeref to kill Acnologia, E.N.D is required. At the same time, E.N.D is required to kill Zeref too, since there is no other way or possibility for him to end his own life ...

At this point you really can burry the whole Yuri = Serena thing for so far it ever had any weight. Two chapters ago Serena obliterated Warrod and the latter was saying on his deathbed he was about to join Yuri in the afterlife. Also Makarov has spent a year in Alvarez where he met Serena and he probably met him quite a few times too when Serena was still a Wizard Saint.

Are you telling me that Warrod can't even recognize his lifelong friend and Makarov his father when he's beating them to death?
