The one thing that this chapter showed is how powerful the Spriggans are. If Laxus were able to fodderize them then they wouldn't have just escaped and took them out. lol If that were true, then Natsu would have just jumped int he fight and attackted them, because that is how he is.

You should realize what's really going on before spreading your nonsense. They both let them escape because what Zeref wants is a damn war and that war is with Ishgar and not just FT. His purpose is to make Acnologia fall in that war and also to awake END.

also a surprise lightning attack from laxus destroyed sandstorm, azir wasnt even focused on laxus, he was stopping them from escaping ,to which laxus launched an attack, azir also said that he wont die from an attack like that

also spriggan 12 should all be on nearly same level, orgast stopped laxus attack like it was nothing

laxus ,orgast and azir were all casual ,nobody was seriously using there full power

Yeah he was too bulky and made him seem like he was more of an adult. Glad he changed his outfit now CAN LAXUS be Guild Master Erza isn't the right fit she hasn't done anything worthy recently I actually forgot about her being Guild Master until I seen Laxus and Makarov together

Nice to see Laxus again, I cant say I'm a fan of the haircut though. It was such a casual large attack from Laxus, what on earth would he be like serious? I'm curious at what Natsu would of done if Grey, Makarov, and then Laxus hadn't interfered though, oh well, I'm certain there will be much more from him soon.

These power fluctuations don't make sense to me anymore.

What happened to the Natsu that could melt stone just by firing up right after the Timeskip. I guess he can only use that power when he needs to one shot someone in the face to kick an arc of or to kill the boss to end an arc. In between he's always useless.

Glad that old man Makorov took action as a leader.

That attack looks a lot like the first attack Orga used during the Grand Magic Games, only that of Laxus' was on a larger scale.

Yeah in thinking the same thing. Everyone should be moving from beside natsu because he's too hot. When he returned after the time skip he melted the arena with just letting off steam and even melted Lucy's clothes. He also melted sherrias clothes by her being too close to him. What happened to that power?

Absolutely boss attack from Laxus. Really intrigued to see just how OP this August guy is when we finally see him in a fight, if he can stop an attack like that, like it was nothing!

Ajeel is definitely not a weakling, considering he just brought out a huge sand Tsunami, that was potentially going to kill Makarov and Co. in one fell swoop! However, I would definitely say Ajeel is probably going to be at the mid or low end of the spectrum in terms of his power standing within the S12, but that's just testament to what monsters all of them are.

I liked Laxus' long awaited return. And good to see Natsu still has long to go before he can match Laxus & Gildarts. Yes he was recently said to be some demon, but as it always been and should be for a while more, he's still a greenhorn against his seniors.

Lightning Flame Mode isn't Canon I think.. Im pretty sure he used he all of Laxus Lightning if its canon like it been 7 Years ago ( Tenrou Group Sleeping 5 Years I Think and TimeSkip )when he received it. Dragon Force is eh he cant use it on his own I think he did in the Tartarous arc gotta reread I went through that shit too quick.

He used Lightning Fire Dragon mode against the Tartaros Guild and it is canon, and he can now use Dragon Force at will.

I think you need to reread the Tartaros Arc.

I think you need to cool off with your "read or reread" talk.

How is his age relevant? have you ever read the manga? You would know Natsu was been beneath Laxus/Gildarts since the start. And get this through, in the start he was also a 400 yr old demon. Whether the power is sealed or not, fact remains, since the start it's been proven he is not above Gildarts/Laxus. Just because he was recently said to be an old demon does not mean he will shoot up in the power scale, he's background was revelead, that doesn't change his strength. It just means he will be stronger, in the future.

"Laxus got him by surprise"? Clearly you missed the panel where he cuts the sand wave apart with a lightning strike and Azeal sees him above. He understimated Laxus' ability, but he knew he was there. No surprise, aside from being scared as he expressed afterwards.

As for Natsu's power, you're arguments don't even add up. I mean "the thing with the bandages" what? what about the thing with the bandages? We know his arm acts up when near a Spriggan. Ok so does this make him a powerhouse? No. As for Dragon Force, I laugh. Natsu is not weak, i'm merely saying in terms of experience and overall power he is not yet near the S rankers.

What I do not get is why you keep hammering on that "you were right" despite the fact that everything that happened up to this point has been according to one of the possible scenarios I described and which you were adamantly against. Even more so considering we almost had in every chapter of the past month a reference that if they would keep doing what they were doing, it would be war. This is something I also specifically explained that a rescue mission on itself is a declaration of war. The thing you are going on about is that it wasn't FT's intention to start a war, but that was never relevant to begin with as it's not their intentions that were important, but the consequences of their actions. Whether they had the intention of starting a war or not would have made no difference whatsoever as long as they preformed the exact same actions.

Also they invaded a hostile nation without authorization to achieve a certain objective. That that objective was a rescue mission, is again besides the point as it doesn't change anything. Having Makarov being held hostage would have made FT's position even more disadvantageous than it already was, so a mission to save him can be considered a preemptive strike. Or what would have happened if they didn't? Zeref was planning to kill him, so he likely would have sent his corpse to FT to make Natsu furious, something he himself said. In the mean time Zeref would have time to prepare his army while FT would just be being busy trying to build up their guild again.

So this rescue mission not only can be considered to be the direct cause of the war, but also a preemptive strike of Fairy Tail which has given them some time to prepare, albeit not much. At this point this all is still very well going towards a war and this was what you originally were completely against when you started going on about a rescue mission. So I really don't get why you keep going on about how you were right despite the fact you completely missed the point.
