[Predictions] Fairy Tail Manga Chapter 445 Discussion and 446 Predictions

As we saw earlier, except for Natsu, the members of Fairy Tail they have here are no match for the 12 so I am guessing that either they will have to retreat for now or Natsu and Zeref will be the only ones really fighting with the rest of Fairy Tail playing for time, even then I think Natsu will lose or the fight will be interrupted, its too soon for Zeref to be defeated. Natsu hasn't even had to deal with the issues of being his brother and END.
Considering what we have seen, if Zeref and his army invades, Ishgar will be destroyed, I am guessing it will come down to stopping Zeref before that happens by removing him from power (its unlikely Natsu will end up killing his own brother) or Natsu beating him and getting him to change his mind about humanity (typical talk and power of friendship), considering how things usually go in this manga, I would say the redemption of Zeref is the most likely.

I really love this focus on Natsu, this is couldn't be much better for me tbh. I can't even guess whats gonna happen in next few chapters, I'm just gonna have to take my seat on the hype train and see where it takes me.

So going superficially based on their titles:
Imber = ice/snow/something related to cold magic
Azir = Earth/sand/something related to desert magic

That Gandalf like old person sure looks like someone who can use all natures of magic.
As far as we knew they are from milidia Academy. It might be probably in west outside of the Ishgar continent. Also in this chapter Zeref says "God Ankseram has been in good mood these past years...." along these lines. Considering how that entire encounter of Yajeel and Zeref played out, is mashima foreshadowing that Ankhseram is a part of Zeref or resides in Zeref's body. OR - Zeref is referring to the curse he got from God Ankhseram?. There is more I want to say but I will wait for CR Trans.
Also I think Fairy Heart might be something powerful that can give life to persons or something along those lines.
Next chapter will be 31 pages long?!.....Mashima is awesome.

With this chapter FT Completed it's 10th anniversary. Nice Color cover to start this week's issue. This week's chapter cover was featured entirely by team 'Shadow Gear' along with Gajeel Redfox. Gajeel and Levy rocks on the cover page of this chapter. Seemingly the theme of this illustration is 'Music Band'. Gajeel is posing with his guitar as usual along with Jet and Droy is 'drumming'. Seemingly Levy & Lily are having their share of fun and joining steps to the music. What is the meaning of "GZ" on the guitar Gajeel is holding?. Was it Mashima's "Gazeel"?.

Very well detailed chapter cover page this time.
Continuing from where we left off from last week's chapter, that is., with the return of the Zeref,the Spriggan to his own country, a lot has been happened in the actual story. In last week's chapter mashima introduced Zeref as the emperor and in this chapter he explained how and when Zeref formed 'Albareth Empire'. Alakitasia was first a small country but as time passes on it became a single huge country. With the defeat of Tartarus, 'Zeref and Acnologia' are the only villains that are left in FT. Also it would be bad progression if the supposed main villain for this arc, the emperor is the one we don't knew anything about like Alok who has no connection to the main storyline whatsoever. So Zeref as the emperor spriggan seems fitting. Having Zeref wander and not letting us knew the whereabouts of Zeref for past 400 years opened new possibilities for Mashima to connect the stories.
In this chapter four new Spriggan 12 members were introduced. Winter General, Invel seems to be someone who knew and dears Zeref most. The character design for the Invel seems okay not bad. His face resembles that of Zeref's slightly. The caption "planned by these two faces..?!" hints there is more we have to knew between Invel and Zeref than a just an Emperor and the Spriggan 12 relation. Zeref orders Invel to assemble all the Spriggan 12 members. It is also said that all the members of the Shield are already assembled.

The Dialogues in the chapter are brilliantly well written especially the ones that are spoken by Invel, Dimaria and Ajeel. The character designs for the Dimaria Yesta, the Warrior Queen and Ajeel Rommul, the Desert King are very good. One is a War Princess and and other one is king of the Desert. As it is going like this, another Spriggan 12 surfaces to the screen who is named as The Wizard King, August. His character design is really the best one so far. He looks like Gandalf of the Fairy Tail.

It is always good to learn that Ragnarök is what we knew as Dragon King Festival. Getting into details in Norse Mythology, Ragnarök is a series of future events which results in the great battle that will change the entire state of the world and at the end of the battle a new, fresh world, starting afresh will be born.

The best part of this chapter is Makarov bowing down infront of Zeref. It just shows how much he cares and fosters his family. All for the Sake of the Fairy Tail Guild, his family. Very well depicted Mashima Sensei.

Zeref himself says in this chapter that there is "one" spriggan among the 12 who don't listen to a reason. He is the one who initiated to invade Ishgal 20 years ago and which was stopped by Zeref himself. Good to see one of the strongest weapons like Etherion being actually mentioned. Etherion is the strongest weapon we have seen so far in the manga. It alone activated the R-System which requires 2.7 Billion edea of Magical energy. It is natural for Zeref to knew more about Mavis & her secrets as we have yet to know all the commission between them. Fairy Heart is the official name for Lumen Histoire. It is also hinted that it is the strongest among the all three fairy spells.

In this chapter Mashima again threw 'God Ankhseram' in the middle of conversation.Is Zeref refering that to his curse or is Mashima foreshadowing that 'Ankhseram was in Zeref'. This is some tricky writing. Interesting to see Zeref called himself as "grotesque fairy". Also nice to see mashima bringing about raising Natsu all this stuff. Makarov bringing Natsu to FT Guild is neither a coincidence nor random. Seemingly there is more to it than we think. Mest came to the rescue at the last blink of time. First it was Wendy during Tartarus arc and now it is Master Makarov. This Chapter ended with both Natsu and Zeref noticing each other.
Final Verdict - Overall an Good Chapter with a lot of elements that brought forth in this chapter.
Regarding the next chapter title.....|"The Land the Gods Abandoned.."|. CR translated it as 'Gods' not a god. Interesting title!!. At first I thought it might be related to God Serena since he was the one who abandoned Ishgal recently but it actually contains Gods but not a God seems like this will not be the case. Anyway looking forward to the next chapter.^^
