I think that Polyussica is Grandine.
Remembered when Natsu team (minus Erza) went for Polyussica to ask some power-ups after Tenrou?
Wendy said that both Grandine and Polyussica share the same smell. Polyussica tell them that she was Edolas Grandine and the Dragon talk to her by telepathy, bla bla.
For me it's bullshit. Why Grandine choose his/ her counterpark to Edolas, hoping for her to find Wendy and give her the script?
My theory is the following: Dragons trains their children, then send them to guild, in order for them to grow surrounded by people (great or not, it's not the point). They didn't want to have another Acnologia. But to ensure growth for Natsu & co, they should disappear.
So if they have to hide, maybe they has to use a powerful magic that allow them to keep an eye to theirs children. That's, on my opinion, one of the meanings of Lumen History.
Well, it seems to big to be true, but for me Polyussica = Grandine.
How forget her smile after giving the new magic to Wendy? :yayy:

Thank you for enlightening me . It was a nice read but I don't believe it personally. Also I'm not going to bother to find where it is said but I think they confirmed Dragon Grandine to be Female (I took note of the his/her)
It would be cool if you were right. If you happen to be so you can rub it in my face XD.
great Chapter
acno is epic af
igneel's design changed?, he looks, less ferocious now 0_0
Kyouka is as hot as always and dat cover 9.5/10
would have given 10 if not for igneel's design
btw, if igneel comes next Chapter, then its mard, end, igneel, acnologia on same time, damn, world is gonna get destroyed
Well that's what I meant with that Igneel's vibe is always different. When he first was shown; he looked like a real cartoonish dragon. After that he looked like a real monstrous dragon with a temper. Now he looks like a more calculating mastermind.

Meh; Polyusca has been a part of FT decades before Wendy was even born. Also the dragons seem to be aware of their 'children's' whereabouts quite well when Grandine once was talking to Igneel about Natsu and Wendy. So I think it's safe to assume they knew both Natsu and Wendy were in the same guild and that they disappeared, especially when it was Acnologia's doing. So that dragon Grandine would contact her 'spiritual' self makes sense in regards of helping Wendy as she's close to her.
Also Grandine didn't put Wendy in a guild, Mystogan did. And it's unclear how both Natsu and especially Gajeel exactly came into contact with a guild. We know that Makarov introduced Natsu to FT, but not how Natsu came into contact with Makarov.

well, in the beginning, mashima's art wasn't that good, that's y igneel looked like a cartoonish dragon, but during os arc, natsu vs Zero, he was drawn in a badass way, Twin dragons vs natsu, that time also he was badass looking dragon, and during natsu devouring atlas flame, it was the best panel of igneel
but this new panel was bit dissapointing, he looked like a fluffy dragon, I just want mashima to revive that flame King

We didn't know how Dragon Slayers (first generation) were born... Moreover, Dragons have disappeared 14 years ago, so 7 years prior Wendy going to FT. So they disappeared before knowing what will happen to theirs children. I understand your point of view but I am still thinking that there are still some mystery about Polyussica. In which chapter the three dragons talked?
Acnologia appearing was the surprise of the whole arc, I thought Acnologia affair would be addressed in next arc.
I still feel Igneel vs Acnologia won't happen so soon something else will transpire, anyways it is amazing.
This arc is going to be the best arc of the Manga, the way plot has progressed its amazing, and individually chapter after chapter it's getting better.
Also this might be the second longest arc of the manga:-
1.Macao arc(Ch. 1-3)
2.Daybreak arc (Ch. 4-9)
3.Lullaby arc (Ch. 10-23)
4.Galuna island arc (Ch. 24-46 )
5.Phantom Lord arc (Ch. 47 - 69)
6.Loke arc (Ch. 70-74)
7.Tower of Heaven arc (Ch. 75 - 102)
8.Fighting Festival arc (Ch. 103-130)
9.Oración Seis arc (Ch 131-165)
10.Edolas arc (Ch. 166-199)
11.Tenrou Island arc (Ch. 200-253)
12.X791 arc (Ch. 254 - 257)
13.Grand Magic Games arc (Ch. 258-340)
14.Sun Village arc (Ch. 341-355)
15.Tartarus arc (Ch. 356-)
So assuming this arc takes 15~20 chapters more, how much you all think the manga may continue?
I feel at least 2 more arcs after this as Hiro is also starting a new work which yet hasn't materialised, it has already surpassed rave in length, so 2 arcs more addressing the past of 1st gen Dragon Slayers and Zeref/Natsu storyline i.e 1-2 years more.

That didn't had much to do with the art. The first few panels we saw of Igneel was Igneel playing tag with Natsu and teaching how to read and stuff. The point of those panels was to show him as a fatherly figure who raised Natsu as his son, while afterwards he was always portrayed in way to make it clear he is still a ferocious dragon. This time however Hiro drew him like he's a calculating tactician.

There is something iffy with the origin of them, however as far as Natsu & co are concerned they are as normal as other people. Natsu is always talking about Igneel being his father and all and that he doesn't find having a dragon as his father odd. Polyuska was something like half a century ago already related to FT as she was in the same group as Makarov, Bob, Goldminer and another person. The dragons also left without saying anything at all. So them wanting them to be in guilds and Polyuska being the real Grandine doesn't make much sense as Grandine then acts like a human for a large portion of the time while in fact she should have disappeared and she lets Wendy join another, imaginary, guild?
And the three together have never talked to each other so far, but Igneel once talked to Grandine I think just before the Oracion Seis arc.
Disgusting Lamys Everywhere
Erza being bad ass in her Armadura Fairy
Wendy Fainting for who knows why
Gray moving on head w/o everyone
Acnologia coming to Fodder stomp everyone
Igneel's Random Appearance very epic
Overall of course 5/5, can't wait for next week it will be epic!

If my memory serves me right Hiro Once said that he is planning to make this manga serialize for 10 years at best.He also said that besides Tartarus arc there will be two more 'main' arcs for the manga to end.
@ Bold Yeah he sure is working about that Unnamed Project secretively besides drawing FT Manga.I think he will start that Series after FT ends,May be two years from now.Hiro also did a One shot on Hoshigami no Satsuki which is going to release in next issue of Kodansha's weekly Shonen Magazine.
After Tower of Heaven arc.
Yeah Grandine talked to Igneel once. That time Grandine said like this - "May be this time a friendly relationship will be established".....Is it implying that they weren't friendly in their Past which we don't know yet!
Thought of sharing this Pic from Vol.39 book of FT.

This year's 41st issue of Kodansha's Weekly Shōnen Magazine is announcing on Wednesday that Hiro Mashima will draw a one-shot manga story with a color opening page in the following issue on September 17. The Japanese-style epic fantasy "Hoshigami no Satsuki" will revolve around a magic sword and "the strongest protagonist." It will be the first all-new one-shot story from Mashima in three years.
Mashima is also publishing the 400th chapter of Fairy Tail in the following issue. To celebrate the accomplishment, the chapter will have a color opening page, and the magazine will give away an exclusive Quo Card to 400 readers.

I recall during 2004-2005 when he was writing Rave the same situation occurred, Hiro decided to write a new manga and the whole irc was full of speculation, it turned out to be fairy tail a one shot, he earlier developed, though fairy tail is much better and refined than the one-shot 'Fairy Tale' he wrote.
He started the new manga after completing Rave, so I think you are right that, he will start another one after finishing Fairy Tail, moreover the way he has started new Fairy Tail spin-offs make me believe he enjoys writing Fairy Tail more than Rave, so I wouldn't be surprised if it continues 3-4 years more, since the world is intriguing and storyline could easily be expanded.
As for his new stories he always tests the water with his one-shots so a recent one-shot of his might become the new manga. He also mentioned in an interview that he first had a different concept for a new manga but after seeing an anime similar to his concept, he ditched it and reworked it into completely new, so we might get it as a one-shot first.
Yes indeed....
It would be really scary...
When everyone was reacting to the voice I thought who it might be, their reactions were confusing to that voice but i thought it could be igneel.Strange I never guessed that it would turn out to be acnologia even though that was a more sensible choice.
And afterwards we have a panel of igneel too...
Strange now isn it.
I believe that others can only hear it as a roar but dragonslayers can hear an actual voice as Wendy said before that acnologia did not want to contact dragonslayers as it felt they were insects. But this time natsu says to gajeel did you hear that voice.
Maybe an indication of some communication this time around and possibly some explanations will come from acnologia if the right questions are asked.
