Taking into account the next chapter's title...Meh... personally, I think Silver is Gray's father.
Yes but that key break required a strong bond between summon and summoner. Thus, Lucy's friendship saves FT. Friendship saving the say in FY... that's newi wonder how i hate more, lucy, or sakura..either way i disagree with the chapter, keeps saying lucys this, lucys that, thanks to lucy everyone got saved..but in reality it was thanks to the death(well noo really death) of Aquarius, and than the spirt kings awesomeness, and now it will be thanks to natsu and the rest of FT..
Gray has shown he can channel this magic. So it isn't his magic being better... He's just conveniently immune.I wonder how the Silver vs Gray battle will go, he froze Natsu with the swipe of a finger and single handedly froze that village with the Eternal Flame. That's some other level Ice magic than Gray's usual antics of making swords out of ice.
As for the flame guy, I have no idea how this will turn out to be a difficult fight for Natsu if he can freely consume those flames. He will obviously have some tricks but I don't look forward to that fight at all.
I saw it as the typical, "You think this will stop me?" Line. The kind that means he'll be stuck for a moment, but this won't stop him forever.Indeed
Question on my mind now is: marde greed... or wtv he's called... He just petrified... but from the dialogue it seems he wasn't really that individual or something. I didn't understand that part to be honest. Dunno what to make of it.
^^To bad the next chapters title spoiled the connection between Grey and Silver, I'm really looking forward to a battle between them, great chapter.
Im kinda wondering the same thing.. Silver just ....pwned natsu with no dif.. And im sure he could have killed natsu.. So im curious to see how gray comes out of thisI wonder how the Silver vs Gray battle will go, he froze Natsu with the swipe of a finger and single handedly froze that village with the Eternal Flame. But Im curious to see, whatsup with Juvia... Cause Juvia is by far the weakest of the bunch (To me being tied with lucy) but she is in no way weak. and it seems like she always have a key role like gajeel, gray and erza... I know its because of laxus is done, mira, and elfman just got done but...you have plenty of FT members... Maybe its cause hes trying to build the GrayxJuvia Relationship. I dunno.. Her character just seems dull
But, im sure yall saw my mans gajeel come in, and tear it up!! OH YEAH
#Gajeel4FairyTailMaster U_U
One thing I dont get though is... why not just use fairy law.. : thats a quick and easy game
Personally I like it that most FT battles are short, but heavy. That way you don't get too much slowed down in regards to following the plot.Power of the constellations, woah.
Though I kind of wish that the fight would be slightly longer.
I 100% agree with this post. When juvia gets warped, she can make the weather change, heat up her water and she has shown to be powerful enough to be scary even against powerful enemies. Her weakness is that, unlike Erza, she is much like Lucy: a soft core bubbly character. Even Mirajane is a bit like this. If Mira, Juvia, Wendy and even Lucy weren't "cool bubbly soft" types, they would be much more powerful because the magic they wield and their power is very great. I don't see them as weak in power, I see them as weak minded but thats related to their own characters, not exactly a flaw.
We've seen many enemies in FT and if there is something we should have known by now is that your power is more related to the strength of your convictions than your own magic skill. So the stronger the personality, the stronger the strength of the magician. And there are lots of examples in this, Jellal included (when he was warped in his self delusional state, he was incredibly more powerful than when he was weak minded and emotionally broken).
In this, FT is a bit different from other mangas as it actually makes this aspect a central part of the plot and the whole power leveling. In Bleach, its about raw, inherent, innate power. Even weak minded fools can be insanely strong. In naruto, it varies but even if its a part of the plot, its not as significant as it is in FT. Not nearly one bit. Otherwise the Kage would have won against Madara. And in OP, power is more...down to earth so its a bit different. They are all also strong minded. No one is noticeably weak around the edges. Ok, Usopp is a coward ok but he isn't exactly weak minded. If he wants to do it he can get enough determination to do so. Nami as well. However, in FT, the power level is indeed bound to that kind of personality level more than the power itself
i think he's just stoned/frozen^^
Is Mard Gear really dead??
