No. It would be a blow to FT but it wouldnt be the end..

Also.. War? I think that was 1.) Coming. Thats how each arc starts. With natsu mad as hell 2.) If he considers this war, then they been in war in every arc. 3.) If its true. I wanna know when they are gonna ally with the sabertooth...

Hum... for some reason I didn't like this chapter that much.

first of all, Laxus is still too "omg I'm amazing and ultra powerful" for my own taste. Like I said before, so far, unless we count against Natsu, Laxus never lost to an opponent, which includes Jura, one of the ten wizard saints. I would like him to go through what Erza, Natsu, Gray and even Gildarts or Makarov have gone true: defeat. It would make him more... "normal".

Also, although we might consider that Laxus won, the demon won. Not Laxus. The town is lost, 4 strong FT members are down and probably will be for the remaining arc and he will go back to tartaros with information about how strong humans can be possibly altering thier strategy. So yeah, Tartaros 2, FT 0.

War was obvious at this point. The Balam Alliance, the ultimate gruop of the top dark guilds, was all but destroyed by the good guilds without any real role from the council. Oracion 6 was defeated by an alliance formed by guilds with no council role. Grimhoir Heart (or wtv its spelled) was defeated by FT without any council role...at least significant. Only one left was Tartaros so it was obvious they would eventually be put against FT. No other guild can do that role.

Will be interesting yes but I was expecting more from this chapter in particular

Natsu doesn't lose. He can only win. Erza too. Gajeel probably isn't stronger than those 2. Under normal circumstances, I can't see them winning against any of the 9 demons, sorry.

I agree, it wouldn't be the end. Fairy Tail obviously won't lose to Tartaros.

Thus consider this: Second Origin -> Dragon Force -> Lightning Flame Dragon Mode -> Hidden Fire Form - Crimson Lotus: Phoenix Blade.

Even Tartarus flees in the sight of the great Natsu Dragneel.

I hope Laxus recovers somehow! If he don't, then they are pretty much ****ed There are 9 members of tatoraros and there needs to be 9 people to take each of them on. And on top of that their guild master is E.N.D, Soo i dont know how in the world they are going to beat these people...Hope they don't play the friendship card again

Wow, FT has gotten a bit of a dark vibe these past few chapters, really unusual.

The demon went down a bit too easy, even after Hiro's standards. Still I think this battle was mainly meatn to show that this isn't all going to be about just plain strength, but that demons and humans are fundamentally different, well at least that one as considering only has been called 'The Immortal' so far, it's possible only he can pull that off.

Just after the time-skip Jura said that the gathering was coming closer to Makarov. I always assumed it was some kind of a meeting between all the Wizard Saints. Considering the Council is gone, they might take control over the situation.

Not much to say about this chapter overall..... It was shown that minverva was going through transformation.. So i guess they are gathering up troops. Oh. Btw. I think Demon slayers mean.. Only they can kill each other.. Meh Idk

Ok to make it clear makarov is not a council member is was a member of the ten wizard saints and I think fairy tail can hold there own and I don't think fairy tail will be the only ones fighting, the rebirth of the alliance with some more guilds like saber tooth and mermaid heel. The war is on

well judging by their names, all 9 have different powers that unique to them. like the demon slayer guy and then this guy with the poison mist.

Laxus is amazing as always :ilu: Chapter 6/5 one the best but also the most depressing so many dead people I actually felt touched never happened for me in Fairy Tail this is a first.

The war is between Fairy Tail and Tartarous and hope it stays that way I have had enough of the other guilds most of them is no better than fodder anyway Blue pegusas, Lamia Scale(Excluding Jura,Lyon and Chelia), Mermaid heel(Excluding Kagura), Qutra puppy(Excluding Bacchus LOL), and Sabortooth is a weaker version of Fairy Tail(Natsu>Sting/Rogue, Gray>Rufus, Mirajane>Orga, Lucy>Yukino) they just don't seem important enough to really make a difference or really even needed(In the main battles)

It would just be more epic for it to be Fairies vs Demons and I believe Fairy Tail can hold its own against these demons. Of course I wouldn't mind the other guilds taking out the lesser members of Tartorus I wouldn't care.

Wendy vs Tempesta especially due to their magic of course Wendy wont win as easy but it the match up would be good.

Hopefully it is based on magic types rather than strength like the battles are done were 2 mages have similar magic but are opposites of each other at the same time 1 light 1 dark face off against each other.
